i was looking at some if this guys vids. i am glade that he says a lot of times your can't just to stencils all the time and rely of that if you want it to look good your have to learn how to free hand and get good at it but if your doing a big job stencils help speed it up a bit and lays a good fowndashion. well at lest he is not saying you can make a living out if it right. hey i was wanting to know the other day if your have vids or photos of your work's i would like to see.

I hope you all realize that these are just the promotional videos and not the full length feature videos we offer on DVD.

I understand what you mean. It' true, we all have to start somewhere, but somehow, I managed to understand by trials and errors to get to the point that i am now,but i did graffiti for 10 years, and i started drawing and creating images at a very young age. I didn't take a airbrush without having any artistic background and just to try and see if i could cash in with cheap tricks and special effects learnt in a dvd, but hey, it's all good, maybe it's my pride. TTYL, got 2 go snowboarding ;)

I know this is an old conversation but, its not the guys making the video's fault. If there wasn't a market for it, it wouldn't exist. I know more good musicians that don't have gigs while all the mediocre ones do. Once you've gotten really good at something, you out price yourself or people perceive you as being too expensive. Only way to fix it is to lower your prices so you get the jobs. And in defense of the newbs, we all have to start somewhere, you weren't born great even thou you are now.

yeah, at leats he says not to just rely on the stencil, but man .. lol i saw a couple jobs here, made only with black, shot through the stencil with a couple ugly highlights trown blindly .. horrifiying, and this on a avalanche truck, and a full blown acura integra .. i was almost crying man. For pictures, i have my website, but no videos yet

see now that i understand and is better then saying whatever. he is good at what he dose and the stencils are made by him so he is not showing some other guys work saying it is easy easy he just knows how to use what he makes. but i agree with you noobs are ticking me off in some things to about that. good thing for me its not my job just a hobby but like i said i make my own i don't pay for ones that everyone has takes away from the originality.

i'm not sayin how to videos are wrong, cuz they can help on certain points when you're an artist that needs tips on color mix,the problem comz when they say, you can make alot of money with this, you can do it to, or when they show you everything and make you think its all you need to get rich. Its all just to make money and sell stuff on the side, what they didnt know is that real artists are gonna have to struggle even harder because of these amateurs. We loosin jobs out here to these guys

Why do i care so much :cause its all I have and i learned everything by myself,i been drawin all my life and preparing for this, and where i live we are loosin jobs to dudes who watch ''how to'' and suddenly think they can do this. recently i lost a 5000$ job to a newbie who did the job in 3 days for peanuts, the job is scrap and ugly, the builder is pissed off, i am pissed off, and the client is dumb, and he doesnt understand why we can't bring his ugly 55000$ piece of shiit in a show.

there's even a bodyshop dude who started to do airbrush, he's so greedy that he's learnin it to get the cash from everything comin in his shop. Go on the net and surf through some airbrush sites, you'll see the percentage of crap against the percentage of real nice stuff. Its amasing how many websites with ugly shit there is, its ridiculous. THESE DUDES HAVE WEBSITES, THEY ADVERTISE N ALL .. BUT THEY CAN'T DO THE JOB RIGHT .. all because of the YOU CAN DO IT scam to sell products

its showing you how to get started with it. not your a pro why u looking at my how to book. i make my own stencils when i do my work and i will agree that its not 100% but i really don't care all that much why do you?

i dont wanna be mean with this. The thing is, it pisses me off because where i live, newbies be frontin like they're pros and they get to paint on 70 000$ bikes and they fuck em up. And the cause of all that is the ''YOU CAN DO IT TOO'' slogan, made to sell stencils and new airbrushes to all the wannabees that wanna get rich quick. Listen to the videos, they're always talkin about going faster and makin more cash .. f*ckin sell outs .

society probably needs you as a plumber or as a doctor, or whatever the talent you have is, but you need so much attention that you try doin something you'll never be able to master .. just coz you think it's so easy .. anyway .. worthless conversation, gtg back to work .. peace

You lost the job because you think your so good your worth 5000.00 for a paint job. That's why people learn for their self, it's Cheaper. My not look as good but a lot cheaper. Painters are starting to charge like Doctors.
