I want to add a few technical points here. 1. Tank are not very likely to overkill, it could happend but there is enough random in the animation of turret movement and slight distance they have by their size that it does not matter much. Overkill will happend much more often with units that has some sort of missile attack. 2. Using shift command to order to kill banelings can work, but you also have to consider what are the tanks shooting at. If they kill their target in one shot, it's fine, they will be able to shoot in time the queued targeet. If they shoot a unit that has alot of hp like roaches, lurkers, ultralisk, etc (or even worse a structure) and you shit click, you might feel like your tanks are not responsive because they want to kill their first target first. You might want to simply right click on the banelings. That would make them much more responsive, but you won't be able to issue order to other units like splitting marines and focus fire with tanks. 3. Taking the time, apm and attention to siege tanks one by one is alot of effort and in a moving army it can be tricky to click on specefic tanks (just like in your video, you often have troubles clicking on the tank to siege). As a solution, you can select all your tanks, right click to move to a point, queue the siege command and then shift left click in the unit list (bottom of the screen) to remove that unit from selection and repeat actions. That way all your tanks will have their command to go into position and you won't have to focus your attention while your tanks are moving. 4. You might want a single marine to be ahead of your main army or even leaving one or two on the sides. That way you can have that 1-2sec response time to forcus back on your army if you are looking elsewhere and you know where the zerg goes in. 5. You might want to scan as you approach the creep to find baneling traps and see the army position thus making you decide if you siege up there or further. 6. Always keep in mind in StarCraft 2, units will always shoot the closest target they can. If Zerglings swarm your army and you have sieged tanks in the back, you should try to focus their fire away from your army or splash will kill yourself.

Very nice guide! Can you do a tutorial on how to fast create a drop with marines and medivac out of your normal army? So I have troubles to select 8-16 marines put them into the medivacs and split them from my main army to do a drop

If you want to send out two medivacs, just click units into two of them, and send those two out. If you're being clever about it and clicking on two medivacs that are easy to select afterwards, there's very little micro involved.

I don't see this kind of thing during coaching or watching pro games.We can either talk of the Korean style from Maru TO TY or either of Gumiho or Innovation,But for me this quite a different view."I will do my best to absorb this kind of pattern".I watch all your Terran tutorial.This is something to think about.Very informative but likewise knowledgeable in result.

Intersting how using tanks on a separate hotkey and targeting specific units with them is a "high level" SC2 move, yet its a a basic micro management concept you must know if you want to be a D+ Terran player in Broodwar
