@@xval536 a 12.7 x 108 is usually strpnger than 12.7 x 99 because it is bigger more gunpowder means more energy, also 12.7 x 108 ignites gasoline wich means bullet is basically explosive

Yes, thast obvious, but bc of minor weight, the 50 bmg is usally faster, but thats obvious that the sovietic .50 causes more impact, meaning more destruction power

And both have the same ranges ( operational: 2000 meters; maximum: 3900) the "speed" i was talking about the 50 bmg basically means it will hit a target faster than the 12.7x108mm (obs: 12,7x108mm: 780m/s; 50 bmg: 860 m/s). In fact, soviet 50cal is stronger than 50bmg, but that doesnt change the fact that the 50bmg is actually faster.
