Am watching this video, again. Can never get enough practice. Would you consider doing another one of these, perhaps with the H handshape?

Thank you! This was really helpful. I really enjoy how you put the words in the context of a sentence. Also, how the expressions and variations play into the signing. Our daughter is deaf HOH and she has passed us up LOL!

Help. I need advice please. Im right handed, but have lost most of the movement in my right hand due to arthritis, so I mostly try to sign one handed, as much as possible. (I'm just a beginner learner) how can I improve my signing efficiency? Unfortunately, my left hand also has arthritis, just not as severe. But i AM learning. 😊

This is the hard answer...it's just time and practice. One thought...do you warm up your hands before you begin? That may be a way to get your hands and your mind warmed up before you begin.

For “KNOW NOTHING” I would translate that as “clueless” or “ignorant”, maybe. 7:42

Two F hand signs move to the side at the same time. What is the word being signed?
@signlanguagepractice3 ай бұрын
Without seeing it, my guess is “sentence”.

Does referring to a "Judge" not need a person classifier? As opposed to, "He is going to judge the case."
@signlanguagepractice5 ай бұрын
It is a good question. I have not seen the person classifier used with this sign. However, I have seen another sign for "magistrate"...think of striking a gavel

The word "straw" also uses two F-hands.

What's the sign for FRESHMAN?

As in Freshman in college...your non-dominant hand is in a "5" shape with the back of the hand facing the other person. The dominant hand, in a "5" shape. taps the little finger of the non-dominant hand, with the little finger tapping in the middle of the palm. Let me know if that is a weak explanation
