Liebe Trina, es bringt mir so viel Freude Ihnen beim malen zuschauen zu dürfen, vielen Dank dafür. Die Zartheit und die hohe Emotionale Umsetzung von Strichfürung sowie Farbgebung berühren mich sehr. I like the opaque Kuretake. Color palette is wow! I can see the city scape but I can also see some abstract trees over on the right side I can imagine the thine lines as tree trunks. Maybe a city scape with trees along the street. There’s and idea to explore. I threw down a Trina inspired piece tonight with some collage (on terrible paper) . I really need to drag out the good stuff bc I KNOW that decent w/c paper would allow me the drips, runs, blends and blooms I so desire but I hate to think of ruining paper. I keep thinking the crappy papers will free me up if the substrate isn’t precious. What do you have to say to my thoughts ?

I used to think the same thing about using the crappy paper. But really, what was I saving the good paper for? It felt like I wasn’t valuing myself as an artist by using the cheap paper. So I stopped! I began by working smaller on the good paper and then I couldn’t go back! Hope that helps! 😍
