Wow. That was an informative video! Thanks. I just got my 2019 Escape today. I want to use my android phone for my apps and the onboard Bluetooth, so I was looking for a good phone mount. With so many out there, have you heard of one that works really well with the 2019 Escape model? Eric

Hello again! I have another inquiry. I just purchased a 2019 Escape Sel and noticed the lighting behind the letters in the drive shifter is out. That is, the P, R, N, D are not back lite anymore. Now, because the car is new to me, I'm not sure if I did something to cause the lights to go out, such as, turning a switch off. Any ideas as to what is happening? Thanks. Eric

Thanks for the question. According to ford, those gear lights where not installed, so it doesn’t have any lights there, just the gear lights on the dashboard. Several owners have noticed the same issue and that’s the response they get when they take it back to the dealer. So I guess you’ll just have to get use to looking at the dashboard to see your gear selection (at least at night). Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

I almost gotten a 2019 Ford Escape SEL or Titanium trim level in white. I decided to have a 2020 Ford Escape SE because of the cloth seats. I liked the cloth seats better during the summer.

Greetings guys, this is so great to have with all the tech stuff today. I have a 2019 Titanium and there is a hum in the dash by the start button that sounds like a computer fan running, it starts when you open the door or touch the brake. If you don’t do anything it stops after about 1-2 minutes. Should I be concerned, it’s annoying more than anything. Just so7nds like a computer started up. Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the compliment! To answer your question my best guess is a bad climate sensor that’s right in that ignition area. It does have a small fan that has been know to cause the sound your describing. If that’s the issue then replacing that climate sensor should fix the issue. If you take it to a dealer, or your a handy do-it-yourself kind of guy, they (or you) can hook to the OBDII port and scan the system to see if that is it for sure. @@TwoGuysandaRide that is do awesome thank you very much for that. I actually said that to my wife because the auto engine shutoff when you stop wasn’t working like I thought it should. It wasn’t until I cranked up the cabin temp it started working. I have an appt with the dealer next week, I will show them your comments. I also took out a 3 yr extended warranty hopefully they cover it. Cheers Jim

Thanks for the question. No not on this vehicle. You just get a low tire pressure warning. When you see that warning you will have to get out and check which one needs to be aired up. Thanks for watching!

It depends on what options you have. If your vehicle will display TP for each wheel it should be under the “information “ tab in the drivers screen but you’ll need to scroll up or down in that menu. If it is not there then you will get a low tire pressure warning light on your dash. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Any idea why my sub has no sound coming out of it? Also you said ten speakers, where is the tenth one? lol Thanks

Thanks for the question. In terms of the sub not producing any sound I have two thoughts:1. Is the bass turned up enough for the sub to work (should’nt take much bass, but the more bass, the more the sub produces). 2. There’s possibly something wrong with the sub. In terms of the ten speakers there should be some in the following places, 2 in each door, some in the A pillars, by the rear door handles and one in the very back and one in the center of the dash. Not sure which ones you’ve already found, but check in those places to see if you find the 10th one. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
