I just want to share my experience on how I play the campaign on brutal difficulty.
I also include all of the cutscenes and dialogues in the game.

Glad to hear you say that! But actually, my micro is not that good, since I'm just high gold player. In fact, you just need to study the timing of the AI in each mission and figure out how to counter it. As for your question, I used to play like 4-5 hours a day, but that was 2 years ago. Now I almost quit playing and just focus on studying, but I still watch SC2 tournaments in my free time :)
