I like how this guy somehow homages all of the different iterations of lockdown in someway. The gun face and weird mask face. The hook and the Animated Lockdown colors. This thing is just all around cool looking.

I'm not really into this figure, hopefully the remoulded Cyclonus will be better, and it doesn't seem to be as finished as previous MMC releases, like the shoulders. Love it when you attached the mace and said he would bludgeon you to death.

Peaugh I believe the Swords can store in Alt Mode, the nosecones that you fold sideways on his back is where the full sword stores, if you slide them in the same spot as you did in the video you should be able to store them underneath the alt mode.

shockwave514 yep. The instructions show those as needing to be folded up for bot mode, it did occur to me to stick the swords in with them folded down. That is exactly how it works.

Great review... For the shield, can it be attached to the peg on the forearm? Just below where it rotates past the elbow joint?

awesome review. is it possible the shield part attaches to the round pegs on the front of the forearms ? and you just rotate them off to the side ?

Although this is cool and I love MMCs' work, I much prefer Lockdown to be a muscle car. I can even see those shoulders as the front bumper with spikes jutting out of it.

As good as it looks from some angles, as a whole it really feels like so many ideas went into this with a lack of consideration to whether or not it would affect the overall playability and stability of the figure.

Looks good and I love lockdown as a character, but Jaegertron doesn't look as finished as their other releases, specifically because of that shoulder thing and the "backpack". I also feel like most of the budget that could have been used to improve the shoulders went to the circular piece and ensuring the armory got an LED. Glad i cancelled my pre-order.

are the gray panels (the ones that attach the arms to the torso) much of a problem? I know you said they don't really lock in or stay in put, but does it take much force for them to move?

They move with very little effort, they don't really lock in well.

I'm a little sad that you missed all of the Death's Head clues this guy has, fella. There are so many of them, that it makes me wonder if this toy was originally pitched as Death's Head, and then Lockdown and Cyclonus came afterwards. The shield on his back? Death's Head. The two guns from the cabinet? Those are Death's Head's guns from the Marvel UK comic (though he only used one). The Mace, axe and rocket hand attachments...All Death's Head. Man, I'm so excited for Anubis.

I really like the figure a lot, but he could have been better for sure. As great as all modes look (having one of the coolest looking space fighter craft modes ever) the panels over the wings are pretty damn frustrating. No way for him to attach the shield to his arm or hand. On mine the cargo bay doesn't quite fit onto the spacecraft mode straight, and to have everything stored in spacecraft mode you end up with a couple of parts rattling around in there. If not for those issues it would have been an amazing figure, but its just pretty good and looks great.

you need to clarify and maybe remove whatever light that is giving the electric purple reflections on lockdowns shiny black paint. gives the false illusion that he has a different appearance than he actually does...mine certainly doesn't and I know it's an overhead because it's on your watch too.

I've got a question about the batteries. It says "LR-41", but all the pics I can find of LR-41 batteries on the net are wide and flat watch batteries. My battery compartment is way smaller than that, to the point of being smaller than even normal button cell batteries. Did you actually put LR-41 batteries in yours, and if so, does that mean mine was redesigned for way smaller batteries for some reason?

Yeah, I used LR-41s and they worked just fine.

Charles Darwin it's kind of it's own thing, taking cues from the other Lockdowns like the Gun face from the movie dude and green and black from Animated Lockdown. It could be based on some weird IDW version I haven't seen yet.

It's actually more like a pre-deco of a Cyclonus that MMC wants to do. This is basically them doing a first run to see if there are any kinks to work out (and make people buy it because hey, new toy). Kinda like how RTS Tracks was very obviously intended to be Wheeljack.

i might pass...he's way too expensive for how simple of a transformation he is...yea you get alot of extra junk but he's got a legends class transformation. i guess i'm disappointed in him more than anything
