I loved how you mentioned that she did not over-sing certain runs. So many singers take opportunities to show off their vocals but lose the meaning of the song. I felt the raw emotion in every note of this performance. Absolutely spectacular!

How in the world is this Beautiful creature not a Super Star?? Her audition on BGT is one of the most emotional and fantastic performances I have seen. It wasn't as technically perfect as this one, but the emotion she felt and gave to the audience and judges was Spectacular! Again, how is this woman not already a Super Star?? She has absolutely everything---beauty, poise, humility, and an incredible voice. Someone needs to sign her right away.

She's not just a barker - she has a wonderful warm & rich tonality in the lower registers but also an ability to go high with power. Many can screech this song but she sets a standard that few singers can match. It's her song and probably always will be.

Every time I hear or see Ms. Allred perfom this song I am moved to tears, her voice is amazing and touches my heart and soul. Anyone who is not moved emotionally to some degree has no true appreciation for music, in my opinion. Music is supposed to connect on all levels with the listener. I mean I have had instrumental only music move me as well a music with words. Ms. Allred is an amazing performer and should have been recognized long ago for this.

I love David Foster he has done some incredible body of work musically with many singers and musicians. But he was not the one that wrote "Never Enough" it was Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. These two guys wrote every song in the "Greatest Showman", what talent these two guys have!!! And Loren Allred what can you say but stunning her presence and her voice!!!😍 Thank you for sharing this, enjoyed it! 😊

I think it bears mentioning that Loren's diction and enunciation in this are second to none. Sheer perfection! Loren was hired to sing this for Rebecca Ferguson who played Swedish or Swiss soprano, Jenny Lind in the movie, and it was RF who said she would lip-sync to Loren singing it. Side note: Even before there was a movie, Pasek and Paul had Loren record reference tracks for all of the female leads. And Jeremy Jordan record reference tracks for all of the male leads. Rebecca Ferguson has said it was like no other project she’s ever been a part of. She said everyone wardrobe, makeup, actors, techs were all a family helping Hugh realize the vision. Zendaya has said even when she wasn’t filming, she’d be on the set watching the magic happen.

Lauren reminds me of Linda Edder with the tone & the power she creates. The best cover I have ever heard of this song is Gerphil Flores. She sings it just a bit differently. I hope someday you do a reaction to this wonderful classy lady sometime. She has a channel where she puts out a song once in a while. My suggestion is one of these songs. "Somewhere In Time", "Never Enough", "Vincent", " Because We Believe", "Es War Einmal Im Dezember (In German), "The Lords Prayer", "Caccini's Ave Maria", "Angels We have heard On High" "Dust In The Wind" "The Prayer" KZbin has it listed as Hitman David Foster & Friends Asia tour 2016 Gerphil Flores, The Prayer.
