Muzi Mthembu How true. She knew exactly what she was doing on that stage. She never looked lost. Her stage presence is one of the things that set her apart. I rest my case. She is the most talented and gifted vocalist that ever lived She had the total package, and she demonstrated her legendary prowess in several ways, not least of which is her unmatched ability to perform live, her studio recordings in different ways and her amazing control which allows her to not only transition constantly between head and chest voice, but also allows her to achieve belting in the higher register with equally amazing resonance. From the very first time I saw her on my TV screen in the video " you give good love" , I immediately invited my spouse to have a look at the video and also told her that this singer ( I did not know her name as yet, but subsequently learnt it was Whitney Elizabeth Houston from the TV presenter at the end of the video) will be the next super star in music. Well, she not only achieved that status, but in my opinion went far beyond that and achieved what other singers only dreamt of! The truth is, I have listened very keenly to all of her songs, and have come to the obvious conclusion that she has no equal when it comes to singing! She is truly in a class of her own!! May her soul rest in everlasting peace!! Because if her inhabiting earth for s while, my life has taken on new meaning - that is how not only her music, but she as a humble, graceful and loving human being, has affected and influenced me, as a citizen of this world

@@SerafiniAGaunt only one time, when her daughter was in the coma a very close to death. I guess they thought there would be curious people hovering around. It’s a public cemetery and I feel sorry for the families of the people buried near her. They were constantly being watched and questioned just to visit their own family graves. If Whitney’s family wanted their privacy so much, they should have bought a private crypt and guard that. That would be fair to all. Buried next to her is her daughter, and next to her daughter is Whitney’s father. It’s a beautiful old cemetery, I love driving through there to visit a few friends i have lost.

Watching her through the screen is really special...Seeing her live, in person, is a spiritual experience. I saw her in the late 80's when I was only about 10 yrs old. There was something not just in her voice, but in her person, in her soul. It emanated all throughout the arena, & It felt as though you were standing right in front of her & that she was singing just for you. It wasn't just during the songs while singing, it was even when she would talk in between songs. She was enigmatic but innately warm, charming & inviting. Even as a young gay boy, I was absolutely stunned yet perplexed by the rare combination of her physical beauty & her indescribable talent. She truly was a unicorn.

It was excellent to watch you analyze and react as I am a 36 year fan and have seen this performance about a billion times knowing this is the best singer we have seen thus far. Barbra Streisand invited Whitney to her house after she saw this by the way...Whitney was just RIDICULOUS!!! People just don’t know. And Sir believe it or not there are more live performances out there that will make you say “I can’t believe what I just heard!” To compare anyone to or say someone is better than Whitney, in my opinion, is to LIE/be sadly and utterly MISTAKEN! But I'd have to say my favorite of all time was when she sang One Moment In Time at the Grammys in i think 1989, but i could be wrong on the year.
