10 years ago, my grandpa was sick at the hospital in the US. We think that he was about to die cuz his condition was critical. Once we were in the phone and he ask me to sing for him and i sang this song. He's still alive and i keep sing it to him :3

Hi there Maestro Davis! I've seen that reactions to Sin Bandera have boomed up recently. That makes me happy enough, but you provide a nice insight by translating the lyrics to understand them, which provides half of the feeling when you listen to a song for the first time. I'll try to give a little bit of context about the live versions these guys have, that hopefully will make you like them more: - ALL the songs interpreted in the concert you are reacting to, are from the "Una Ultima Vez" ("One Last Time") live, which was a tour to celebrate a last reunion of them after about 8 years that both parted ways to pursue their own artistic career in 2008. - The interpretations of all the songs composed as "Sin Bandera", which include both your reactions, have a totally different composition and vibe compared to the original recorded version. This is because Leonel and Noel love to play around with their own voices during their concerts, but for this particular tour they decided to play with their music as well, presenting a more jazzy version. - "Entra en mi Vida" (Enter My Life) and "Kilometros" (Kilometers) were such great succeses and present romance on a positive note. Personally, I love the song "De viaje" (On a Trip). However I would recommend you listen to them representing the downside of romance, such as in "Suelta mi Mano" (Let My Hand Go), or "Mientes tan Bien" (You Lie So Well). - As you mentioned, the particular musicality of the harmonies of both their voices singing together is the atttractiveness of the duet. I have to point out that, additionally, the do it by improvising. The LOVE to improvise. They both start the harmonies with the key chord and then start playing around with their voices. A good example of this, is when they were invited as a guest artist to interpret a song called "Si la Ves" (If you see her) from Franco de Vita.
