This is the 2.0 Version of the 2002 Castle Grayskull. I own the first version which had less sound points, but is also spoke and recognized the 2002 Figures, bad guys or good guys and the power sword was silver chrome. I wanted to get this one too, but I missed out and now they are insanely expensive.

Loved this toy lol got it at a thrift store when I was a kid and I didn't actually know what it was! I put all my different action figures in it and would make up some crazy story lines I'm glad I finally found it!

I remember it must be 2004 or so ......... a Castle Grayskull was at clearence for just 19 euro (was about $21) . I regret it that i have not bought the castle .

Just busting balls....nothing wrong with 200X at all. 80's MOTU is what I grew up on, so I'm just giving in to my nostalgia. :)

Don't mind me, just having a meltdown. I have no clue why but I just "unlocked" the memory of this set, I got this for Christmas in 02 or 03 and absolutely loved it. I'm 25 now and I don't think my brain has registered the existence of this thing in at least 15 or 16 years, but for some reason it came back to me tonight. Gotta go watch the series!

How so? Story line was AMAZING, corny characters from Filmation had depth, Adam looked like he was supposed to (A teenager), And once again The Story line was AMAZING!!

Wow...I cant' believe I actually passed on this Castle Grayskull when I first saw in stores! I'ts actually nice and goes really good with the new Classics line. I"m hoping the new 2012 I pre-ordered doesnt dissapoint now.

I have this version of the castle. It's the only one I have but honestly, I think it's the only one I need. It fits the needs of both my 200x and vintage figures well

Two other differences between Action Chip and yours. (I have Action Chip.) The sword is silver, not gold. The symbol on the door is left plain, not painted. There's some more stuff and if I could figure out what sorta camera I can get for cheap/churns out good quality video, I'd do a review:)

I can purchase the same castle for $120 shrinkwrapped with 4 shrinkwrapped figures today at my local Half-Price Books. I don't know if it's worth it since it was $150 for the classics remake at Matty Collector a couple of times.

I don't really like this version of Castle Greyskull. The ONLY thing that I like about this castle is the balcony/ window where you can actually fit the figures in (except its on the wrong side) but this doesn't even look like Castle Greyskull from the 200x series. I love the original and they should have improved on that design. but this is my opinion. Thanks for sharing the video tho.

I haven't messed with mine in years. I think I got the first version. I've got this one and the vintage. Haven't gotten the classic one, maybe one day. I'm watching people's videos on this castle hoping someone might show the Battle Station addon. I didn't really know about it, I was more into collecting Transformers.

I'm not interested in getting any castle greyskulls but this thing is indeed nifty. Seems to be chock full of features..and sound effects akimbo! Its got sound effects where i wouldn't expect there to be. Very impressive set.

The new Matty Collector one looks awesome, but the price tag.... I paid $20 for this about 10yrs ago. It folds up nice for storage, and while I'd love the new one, I'm more than content with this.

i have the chip thing version, ans if you rub skeletors foot on the dragon chip in front of the draw bridge,greyskull says:"skeletor, to enter ,stand upon the dragon, !"then it falls on him,it tells good guys to stand clear!

yeah, i got the Action Chip version. yours is more convenient for the classics line. and the Action Chips version is known to allow Skeletor access to the secrets of Castle Greyskull. but all in all, either version is awesome.

I think it has some cool features (like the ADT alarm) but misses the overall feel of a Castle.I had the 80's and it was terrible too.I think it wouldnt had been too much to ask if the had included a throne room.

Hmmm, gotta say i thought the 80s version throne triggered trap door, jaw bridge and overall look of the castle were way better than this one. Only thing i didnt like was the white plastic weapons & rack. Did they release a new Snake mountian too ?

I got the first one with the chips and it didn't work as good as that one. Plus I think that one does more then the first release. It has been years ago so idk.

I think this a very weak and lamegrayskull. The design was terrible. Very flat with no depth. Looked nothing like the show. That being said ,the electronics in it were very good. I recently built a grayskull from scratch and gutted my old 200x one to use the electronics.
