Got mine a few days ago. Surprised that he shipped immediately and is still available up the last time I've check. People were so scared that'll he'll sold out but Masterverse doesn't sell out as fast as Origins does. 😮 For some reason, I thought he comes with an alternate head or tusk extensions, from what it was said in the sale page. 🤔 Haven't opened mine yet. 😅

Congrats on getting him already! Yeah Masterverse usually sits on Mattel Creations for a while. I also mentioned the same thing in this review about extra tusks. Mattels info on this figure did say it comes with interchangeable tusks. But apparently he dosent or it was cut from the parts later.

Yeah, he really is an amazing figure! I heard Mattel Creations lifted the ban on shipping for certain countries on this figure. But im not sure which ones. It's sad that more than half the collectors who support the Origins and Masterverse are outside the USA and have had such a difficult time getting this stuff today because of restrictions, high costs, and low production pieces with certain figures. Please don't advocate for single joints.....you want less articulation then buy classics

I have most of the classics figures on the card already around 286 figures. I personally like the single joint look. But I don't like the pins showing. I do like the idea of the increased articulation with the Masterverse and hidden pins. But those bicep cuts don't look good for a Masters of the Universe figure. That's the biggest complaint I also hear about the arms. Aside from that! I don't think Mattel is gonna make all the figures with those Snout Spout arms. It’s really not made as well as the rest of the line. All his joints were frozen solid. His arm was broken right out of the box. His hips are really loose. It’s such a shame because he looks awesome. But that’s about it unfortunately. Most disappointing release from MOTU.

Good figure but i really don't like the small chest and flat pectorals of these figures. They re ok with armour but without them they chest is too small...much better the motuc one. I love revelation /eternia figures, have about 30 of them but i always hope they improve chest dimensions..hope i will find this figure in italy without giving a kidney to buy it..

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! This Snout Spout figures Chest and pectoral muscles are much larger than the Revalation bodies. He hascan overall larger size as I compared later to other figures. The Classics have some of the best chest and arm designs I think compared to Most Masterverse figures. But the Masterverse figures has better Articulation and pinless joints. They have a unique look depending on the figure. The New Eternia is also one of my favorites. But they also share the Revalation bucks unless it's a larger figure like Two Bad and Beastman for example.

Snout Spout was always one of the weirder characters in the lore, but I like him a lot! One thing I’ll say about Masterverse is that it’s really impressive how most of the figures are able to incorporate multiple designs and display options! The only real complaint is the packaging on the Mattel Creations exclusives. The “shoe box” just looks so cheap and tacky. Outside of that, this is an awesome-looking figure! ~Damon

And if Mattel was going to fix any kind of articulation they should fix their damn necks the neck articulation is like 20 years old. But now they want to single doing elbows that are 15 years old and charged $35. I guess I'm out. Don't mean to rant I like your reviews.

I hear yeah! The neck designs are poor in many figures. I'm having an issue with the newer female necks cracking when pulling heads on and off. Mattel is trying to make things cheaper but yet keep the fans happy. Unfortunately, different people want double elbows or single elbows joints.No cuts in the arms but yet more articulation. Drop joints in the legs. Other people don't like it. It's trail and error with line.

I prefer the double-jointed elbow for the extra range of motion. I think the biceps look fine on both styles, but the single joint only allows a little over 90%. No bueno.

Thanks for checking the review out! Yeah, the double joints definitely allow better articulation than the single joints. I personally don't like the undercut in the biceps. Mcfarlane and Marvel's figures have double joints in the biceps on their figures, and they don't have cuts like that. I like the larger muscle look going back to the Classics or vintage figures. But I totally get the idea of the double joints for better articulation👍

That figure is his own country... Doesn't go with any of the lines really. He's just his own thing. Do his tusks come out and fit into both ends of the axe?

I think this version of Snout Spout with all the new changes is what's makes this figure different and more menacing now. It's kind of like the New Eternia Two-Bad or Beastman figures, for example. It kind of goes back to the 200x concepts and oversized characters compared to others. Yes, the Tusks come out with a little heat. They look like similar pegs that can fit in the axe. Honestly, I haven't tried it. I noticed after the review how to remove those Tusks. The Mattel creations website says he had another pair to replace those originally. But I guess they got cut for costs. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👍

I don't think they are gonna use the single joints in all upcoming Masterverse figures. Yes, the double joints allow for better articulation. Many people in the comments don't like the cut biceps design, including myself! Mcfarlane figures have double elbow joints and articulation without the weird cut. They were some of the last figures that came out torward the end of the vintage line. I guess Mattel was running out of ideas and wanted to push more cybernetic characters mixed with human or animal bodies and parts. Snout Spout is now a cult classic figure that feeds into the nastalgia that a lot of us had with that brand and figures. This Masterverse Version really brought this character to life and made a figure of him much more interesting now👌

They are definitely some of the coolest figures released this year. I love that newer chest and ab design on Battle Armor He-man. The new Cross Armor and Battle Armor is also great! They also work well on the regular Masterverse bucks like I showed in my Battle Armor He-man review. This New Snout Spout has to be one of the coolest Masterverse figures this year! The head, accessories, larger chest, arms, and overall body are what really make a true MOTU figure. I wish all the make figures came like this. He is still up on Mattel Creations! I think he is definitely a must-have!. I think you need this guy in your collection 😁👌

But yeah the mastodon figure is really a nice figure and I do know people have QC issues but I always keep in mind to warm up figures because they do go through different climates before we receive them! @jigsawnora3207 I also thought about picking up another Battle Armor He-man as well! But I kept the Cross Armor on that figure with the head sculpt and put a sword in his hand from Skelagod. The Battle Armor I but on my custom Viking He-man body with the custom Vintage inspired Masterverse He-man head I showed a few times in my reviews. The Battle Armor on a regular Masterverse buck makes it look like the bigger chest is under it. The QC issues can happen to any figure. It's always important to use a blow dryer on low on the joints for a minute to soften them up before you try to articulate them. The same thing goes for part swapping or removal. Also, heat the socket areas, not the peg areas. I use a blow dryer a lot during my part switching in reviews. But of course, I cut that in editing. Sometimes, I dont, and I try to show exactly what my articulate is doing right out of the box. But that's how you break things. Sometimes, as I have!

@jigsawnora3207 The Masters and Origins figures are decent with design depending on the figure. But every joint or part needs respect when trying to move it. I had parts break right out of the box with certain figures. Or not at all. I even have spawn and other figures that still hold up to this day or a joint breaks allof ae sudden when I decide to move the figure. It's all cheap plastic in the end. Yeah, the turtles or even cartoon figures aren't for everyone. Stick to what you like and can afford! You also have a great day. Talk to you soon! Until next time 👌

The Masterverse did a really cool job on this remastered version of Snout Spout. He was always had a strange design going back to the vintage figure. But it's just Nastalgia now for us adult collectors who grew up with the brand.

Most of these toy lines like the Masters of the Universe Origins and Masterverse were designed to Hopefully get the parents who now have kids and grew up with that brand into the brand and figures. It seems like it's more the parents or older generation that is collecting this stuff on a personal level like myself. I gave some toys to my neighbors kids who I grew up with before he had kids. They really like the figures but get board of them quickly.

Yep, I'm the one with the broken Snout Spout. I'm hoping it was just a fluke, I've never had a figure break like that, barely bent the arm and it just snapped right off. And it was warm outside so it wasn't from that, I just think somehow I got a defective one. Tomorrow I'm returning it and hopefully I'll get a good replacement from mattel creations

They had a different tag name. I had a few Origins and a couple of Masterverse figures break in the elbows as well in the past. I too barley moved them, and they snapped. It's a QC issue from bad plastic that didn't cure properly. That's good. You're sending your figure back for a replacement one. Aside from unfortunate things like that. He is one incredible figure!👌

Hello Manchild! We have orderd 3 of them. Must be on our US Postadress. We could not order Rokkon (cause of country restrictions). Now we have an US Adress to send all items there, where they get packaged and will be sent directly to austria. We hope that we can order Syklone too. I think when the counter starts and the figure run begins... they will activate geotracking on creations again.... and maybe we are unable to put the item in the basket for sending it to our US Postadress. We asked some germans to buy this for us and use our US Adress, so that they have really "NO WORK".... but its complicated to find somebody thrustworthy.... Do you have any idea? Anything you can tell me to get my hopes up for this b*llcrap what Creation represent today (it was working in the past, we got many figures from creations directly sent to our country and it is still working for older figures).

I could not ask for the version of a modernized Snout Spout figure. The joints are a little stiff. But heat helped fix that. It's good to hear you have another way of getting these figures to your country. Yeah, the origins have been an issue shipping outside the USA from Mattel Creations. Syclone goes on March 21, it looks like. From what I see on Mattel creations. They still have issues with outside shipping on those figures. Let's hope that the info changes before then. Syclone is super important, and everyone wants one in the Motu collector community. I really hope they get the shipping fix for outside buyers.

Yeah, I agree! The double joint elbow and cut bíceps really take that vintage feel out of these Masterverse figures. The Snout Spout arm with the single joint is perfect. I also wish all the other figures were designed like this from day one. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍

Great review. It’s interesting the varied opinions out there. I’m one who really appreciates double-jointed knees and elbows because I want the action figures to, well, hit action poses. I love making them look like they can do elbow strikes or tuck their back arm for a strike or hold their forearms and hands up like a boxer. So for me, personally the single joint feels like a step backwards. I hear you on the cut out of the bicep though. It can visually throw people off. I don’t know why Mattel can’t marry both great looking arm sculpts and poseable articulation and engineering as well as Hasbro or Jada Toys, or even tiny indies like Spero Toys’ Animal Warriors of the Kingdom (AWOK). Hell, McFarlane figs do it. I’d even settle for single-jointed elbows with something like a maximum 75° bend if it looked good, and smaller and even much newer companies like Frazetta Girls do that all the time. That’s my biggest issue with Classics…they just don’t pose well at all. So I was really happy when Masterverse tried to truly provide something new on the level of how Origins is much more poseable than its predecessor vintage line. Anyway, just interesting to hear the differences in fan opinion, and I guess that’s what Mattel’s designers struggle with every day…a fan base that has widely varying tastes. And with all the great competition out there for the 1/12 to 1/10 scale figures, I assume it’s getting tricky for them to find their lane. Well, thanks again for a super thorough review. Yeah, I totally understand your point about the double elbow joints and much better articulation with that design compared to the Classics. I really like the Masterverse figures. I never thought I would ever get into the line as I have all the classics in a card and a few loose! But the Masterverse re invents the Core characters and gives a second chance to collectors to get 7 inch modernized Motu characters who didn't get the Classics or just another variant of those core figures that can sometimes mix with the Classics. One of the biggest complaints I have heard over and over with people in the comments who really like the new Masterverse figures is about the cut biceps and small chests. I honestly would defend the figures in the beginning, saying it helps with the articulation and gives the body a taller muscle look instead of the big bulky lats on the Classics. But I really love that look with the Classics because it replicates those vintage figures as the Origins line does even better with that true feeling of Nastalgia. I think this Masterverse Snout Spout design with the arms and chest is what most Motu collectors really wanted all along with these figures. But yet the same level of articulation the double elbow joints allow. I'm also surprised Mattel just hasn't made the biceps articulation and design similar to MacFarlane figures as you mentioned what works well. But those figures also have ugly pins going back to the Classics but smaller. The Masterverse doesn't have any pins showing in the Joints. I also prefer that. Maybe Mattel can come up with a solution that looks like Snout Spouts chest and arm design for the newer Male figures with double hinge articulation in the arms at some point.

Thanks for checking out my review even though you were focused on your own review. I don't usually check out too many reviews of the same figure that I already have and am working on my own review. I try to do my own thing without getting other ideas in my head from someone else's reviews. It's what helps make different reviews unique. You be surprised how collectors watch multiple reviews of the same figure. Maybe there's something I missed or did differently on my review and vice versa!my reviews are a lot of work and editing. What's funny is I almost didn't even review this figure because it's a common exclusive and easy to get. There were already a dozen plus reviews up by that time. There are certain figures I don't even review. I keep them in the card like a lot of collectors. Congrats on getting your figure and review up as well!👌

I get that request all the time from other reviewers.i try to watch a video or two to help their channel. But it's just too many. I have to spend my energy and time trying to put my own stuff together, and of course, I spend a lot of time in the comments with long discussions, as you can see. The problem with parts swapping is the risk of breaking things when they are pulled apart for multiple reviews. I'm starting to see this with my figures. I even brought it up in one of my reviews that I'm gonna have to be conservative on that part of my content, depending on the figure because of ware and breaking.

Mattel's leaders are unworthy of any serious company; The continuous boycot they make of their customers is very annoying and exhausting. To buy Snout spout in Spain, I had to turn to friends in the USA (with the added expense of double shipping). After excluding 90% of buyers worldwide, Mattel realizes (oh surprise! 🤦🏻‍♂️) that the figure is not selling because it is impossible to buy ⁉️ (is there anyone in their Commercial Sales Department, capable of thinking?)🤨. And finally, after wasting their most loyal customers' time and patience, they open the sale (now) 4 days later! If Mattel continues like this, i wish it would go bankrupt 😡👎🏻

Yes, both the Masterverse and Origins line has become very frustrating for USA buyers because you can't find anything good at retail and have to pay double the cost on eBay or Preorder certain figures that take months to get. And all the cool box figures are annoying exclusives. The overseas buyers have to deal with the same thing and also the problem with Mattel creations or sellers not shipping outside the US or shipping for high costs. I, too, love the Motu brand but also hanging on by a thread between costs to get figures in hand early for reviews or just getting them at all. Never mind exclusives!
