I didn't pick up a Snake Armour He-man first time around so glad to get him. Rattle Hood looks nice too. Completely agree that there could've been more accessories for Gorgon and Naga. Maybe a different head for one of them, or the Fang-or armour would have been fantastic. Those two feel a little bit lazy. As always, a great and honest review. And this one has better paint apps. I heard the sword was supposed to be Vac Metal. But that idea got cut I guess from this set. Gorgon and Naga are fun to army build with. But they should have come with weapons and different heads to use better on the Kobra Kahn body. I already modified mine to look down more. Rattle Hood is my favorite in this box set! Something with the parts and colors makes him stand out! The box art in itself is a collector piece to have on the shelf! Rattle-Hood is the best of the set, with the trippy colors and the head sculpt. The rest of the set looks like an afterthought built around that figure. I picked up Camo Khan for that hooded head sculpt…Mattel would have been better off releasing Rattle-Hood as a deluxe figure, with a bonus re-release of the green hooded head for collectors who missed out on Camo Khan…or keep it a boxed set with several of the hooded head sculpts in multiple colors, including the green Camo Khan head. As is, I’m undecided, because it’s an expensive set for only one figure I like. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for watching! Rattle hood is definitely my favorite figure in the set. It would have been cool to see that figure in a deluxe set. The whole set is a quick bunch of repaints or figures to army build with. I wish they would release that hood for kobra Kahn in another set or it could have came in this one with Gorgon and could have been used for kobra Kahn for people who wanted that kind of like you mentioned. Overall it's a cool set. But I wish they added a few other thing!

@@Themanchlid Forgot to mention that you can clean up the paint errors with a little nail polish remover on a Q-tip, just be careful, you might need to use some blue masking tape to protect the eye detail on Rattle-Hood, since that large paint error is so close to the eye...and it doesn't hurt to go back over it with a cleaning wipe to remove any residue. I have had to do this with multiple origins figures and MOTU WWE figures, both for paint errors and prepping customs.

I was kind of surprised that we haven’t gotten the Classics Snake Men army builder yet. The interchangeability of Origins really works amazingly well with the Snake Men. I have had a blast swapping pieces between them creating new characters

I really, really want this set! I'm shipping my Pile of Loot as soon as they hit, I never got a snake armor He-Man so that's fine, but that blue snake guy looks incredible! And I've got some kitbashing and customizing plans for the other two, can't wait to see how it all comes together with those two! Wow! I'm excited to hear your really looking forward to this box set! I think it's important to support as much of the line as possible to keep more and newer figures coming in the Origins line! Even know the line mainly repaints and variants. It's perfect for collectors like yourself who didn't get a Snake Armor He-man and want to customize. I think the box art and the Rattle Hood figure alone is enough to get this set. The Snake Troopers can mix good with the heads with other Snake Horde troopers bodies like I showed. So you will need more of them if you like that look!👍

Great review!! The box is very big but the art is amazing !! Rattle hood looks really cool . I wasn't really sure about this box set but as there wasn't anything really exciting about it but Rattle Hood looks awesome and your review convinced me to get a second one for opening because i was originally only getting one for collector in box

Still have mine up for Preorder from BBTS but was on the fence about getting this set. I love the Box Art and that was a big motivation in getting it as it has been for many other fans-was looking on the comments to see how many fans were getting or passing on it and why to finally make a decision one way or the other. Not to excited about repaints but they do make cool Snake Men all in their own right.

Yeah it's a cool set if you want some army building Snakemen and variant figures like Rattle Hood and Snake Armor He-man. The box alone and the figures inside are really cool on it's own as a wall or shelf display piece. Aside from that, all your getting is Repaint figures. I mentioned in the Skeleton Warriors review how that set felt a bit unnecessary at first but the review made me realize how great and unique it looks. This is sort of the reverse of that. The idea behind this set sounded cool at first, but seeing it in hand it ends up feeling kind of *meh* and very…un-unique unfortunately. I like the repaint of Snake Armor He-Man, his design is one I think looks really good in the Origins style. But the actual Snake Men characters quite honestly look like fan-made customs. Rattle-Hood is decent. I do appreciate that he also has the rattle, didn’t even think about that when the character design was first shown. Seeing Rattlor’s “quick-strike” neck combined with Camo Khan’s “spray” is interesting, and imagining both action features combined into one figure would definitely seem extremely difficult, if not impossible, to implement. So, I guess I get why Mattel did it that way now. As far as Gorgon and Naga go, the Rattlor heads just don’t work right with the Kobra Khan buck. Their heads can’t move down, so their faces end up being stuck looking upward! I feel like this entire set was quite literally an afterthought after fans saw the custom Snake Men in the Eternia display at SDCC, and unfortunately, the final product wasn’t very well-thought out as a result. I’ll still most likely try to pick it up eventually (the package itself and the artwork look great), it’s just not quite as enticing as I first thought it would be. I know that MotU is practically built on reuse and retooling of parts, but this is a bit much.

Yeah the box art alone is incredible! That in itself is fun to have as a piece on the shelf! The snake armor He-man definitely has better paint apps then the first release one. He's a good addition in this set for anyone who never picked the first one up. But aside from that, I didn't needed need another one in this set. Id rather see another Snake variant. Rattle Hood is my favorite variant Figure in this set! I like the mixed reused parts and especially the colors. He would have been another highly wanted figure as a single card release! Gorgon and Naga are ok for army building. But the Rattlor heads don't work well on that kobra khan body. I already modified mine to work better. I posted picks on Instagram. They also should have come with accessories. But overall it's a cool looking box set to collect and the figures have potential for customizing or army building. Man this has the largest amount of part swapping going on, it was an excellent set of comparisons, and experiments, You did soo many (and since I dont own any of these yet) it was hard to keep track of all the part changes (lol) Really cool video, lots of options if you mix these with other Snakemen. But agree the 2 guys are mainly for adding to your army and not as amazing as the more well known Snakemen, still worth getting if you're collecting all the Origins figures, the Blue guy's paint made him the best of the 3, and He-man's repaint looks better (In my opinion) So that adds a good reason to possibly get this, thanks for another great figure review.

Excellent review. I really don't like the pairing of Rattlor's head with the Khan body. It just looks really awkward, to me with the upward facing eyes. They look more like frogmen than snakes! I really enjoy the way you swap out parts. Keep up the good work!

On both of them, the green feet on snake armor he-man just looks funny. Kinda wish they were the same color as the shin guards. Also, the half leg armor is just silly. I never had any of the 200x figures, so I assume that's how the original was. But still silly. 😜

Yeah I wish there was a way to give Snake Armor He-man the armor on both sides. I guess armor on one side is supposed to be more defensive and the bare side is for quick attacking with no bulky armor to get in the way.

Hello Manchild! The "Snake Recycling Pack" with McDonalds-He-Man. It's the 2. time Mattel messed up the paint application on He-Man with black and darker parts of his armor! I have a custom Classic Figure of the Snake Armor with 200X Figure Parts and it looks so much better - i wish i could show you a photo. A "Wishi-Washi" Pack! I wish there where a Rockman Origins 2 Pack (which exist in the classic line) instead of this. Too much love and investment from you in this pack... like always good work.

Mattel as well other companies have to re use of tooling parts and make variant or cheap repainted figure in a single card or set sometimes. They might get a new a new story and packaging. This is not a new thing in the Motu line. Some like variants or figures to army build with! What really make this set interesting from the comments I have gotten is the collector box. I'm taking my figures out and giving them other weapons. My point is this how Mattel and other companies make quick cash grabs for more income but most important to get money for new Tooling to make figures like Rokkon and Stondar which can easily cost over a $100000 dollars in just tooling costs. They also have a minimum requirment from the factory that has to be produced. It might be 100 000 units or more. I think there's that many people collecting this line or figures to justify the costs now like in the 80s. Kids are into other stuff now. The Origins are mostly bought from collectors who grew up with it. That's why the newer vintage Figures are going to Mattel Creations! Retail dosent want them and they sit on pegs! @@Themanchlid Wait? What is sitting on pegs? The vintage remakes? Not in germany or austria and i also believe "not outside the us". What is sitting on pegs are: Sunman (all), Vehicles or Playsets, He-Man & Skeletor Variants (+ Clamp Champ), 200x Variants, Female Figures, New Origin Figure nobody knows (like this pack). But now it is a different story, because many collectors are gone and have left the line completly and when 2024 the figures exclusivly come as Mattel Creations Orders...the rest of them will be gone too (people which are importing).

@@iliasfog8857 Yes the Origins and Masterverse are always sitting on pegs in certain Stores that carry them on clearance here! I have seen it and hear about it all the time. I haven't seen any Sunman on pegs. Only that three pack now. I know the rest of the Vintage Origins figures will sell out at Mattel Creations between now and 2024. They are highly wanted and gonna be manufactured in limited amounts.

@@Themanchlid The Suman Three Pack only exists, because it is sitting on pegs everywhere and still today (Sunman itself costs 9 Euros/8 Dollar. Recycling overproductions very less collectors want. Wholesaler stats are telling me this too (not only some people). You will not see any vintage remake origin character hanging around on pegs for long (if less collectors come, the rest buy scalpers). It changed a bit since the price got higher and people have lesser money + the most important figures where already released but there are 20 figures (vintage remakes) left to get a origins update. Masterverse is on pegs because not many collectors need them all, only some figures and they cost a little bit more. Hopefully the missing origins vintage core figures come "Made to Order" and not selling out in 15 minutes...if so: F*ck y*u Mattel.

Mattel is going full steam with the Vintage figures at Mattel Creations now. Maybe made to order will become a thing again. But probley with only certain figures I can see

@@user-tt6be2zx3h It's hit or miss with certain figures and sets I guess Mossman and the Skeleton Warriors two packs came out awesome! This pack was all repaints for army building with a cool box.

Good reviews but not for me right now. I only like Rattle Hood, already have a snake Armor He-Man and the other two needed some accessories. This is a pricey set especially when buying from the UK. I may get it when it’s reduced.

Thanks for watching as always! Yeah Rattle Hood is the coolest looking one. The other He-man is good for customs or people who never got one. The figures are just army builders. They really should have come with weapons. But I'll get some. It's a nice set with that box. But it's pricy and I can understand the pass on it or waiting if it's on sale!👍

Disappointing that He-Man doesn’t have the vac metal sword that was shown in early pics of the set. Meh… just 4 repaints. I’ll probably cancel my preorder.

Someone else mentioned the same thing about He-man coming with a Vac Metal sword in promotional images. I thought it might be the Mattel creations 4 pack He-man they were referring too. I have that one and he comes with vac Metal weapons. Yes this pretty much a good set for army building and customs with the variants. But aside from that! It's just repaints. Its Not for everyone! @@darrensoda I'm already ahead of that idea bro! I used a couple of the spare Skeleton Warriors weapons for Gorgon and Naga. I also modified the Rattlor heads so they can look down a bit on the neck now👍

Not that I'm aware of! The Mattel Creations exclusive 4 pack Snake Armor He-man has Vac Metal Weapons. I also have that version. But I didn't bring it in this review. Maybe BBTS has that figure available. Thanks for watching and sharing that info!

I didn't even know the Snake Armor He-man was supposed to come with Vac Metal. That would makes sense with this set and also giving those Snake troopers weapons. These are cool. But, it is really obvious it was juat a cheap cash grab. I really don't think they needed two exact figures in the pack that were just different colors. Could been a cheaper 3 pack, and everyone still would have been happy.

It's a interesting looking set and can make for some easy Snake army building figures. But it's definitely a quick cash grab and repaint of figures. I wish the other Snakemen at least had some weapons! The box is really cool looking though! Thanks for watching 👍

I really don’t like the matte silver plastic for He-Man’s armor. They are using that plastic on all the toys these days. It just feels so cheap.

Yeah the armor is really soft and gummy. They don't even paint it. The color is molded like that!

Isnt Snake Mountain Skeletors lair?, they seem to be trying to change the lore to make it belong to the Snake Men now. I dont get why Mattel are so infatuated with the Snake Men faction over all overs.

I think the Snakemen originaly had Snake mountain in the 200x story. They were defeted during the Pre Eternia Battles and locked up deep beneath snake mountain. Or something to that nature! Now they are escaping and on the rise again!
