The played with it in both the classic and 03 series. The 03 was building up to it, but was canceled just as they were introducing Hordak. The CGI for kids on Netflix straight up has Teela as a magic user. The live action movie I think alluded to it. The 90's series was set a million years into Eternia's future so the only glimpse we got of her was a guest shot where she was called Teela, but was pretty clearly She-Ra.

I for one would have loved to see a cartoon version of the DC Thundercats-He-man crossover graphic novel. It had some great ideas. The snake in snake mountain was the fifth spirit of evil. Lion-o giving himself "power beyond power" to trade blows with He-man. Mummra and Skeletor teaming up and constantly double-crossing each other to be the sole gainer of power. All Thundercats and Heman characters teaming up to fight the actual spirits of evil.

@@MasterSkywalker86 Funny. I laughed hard when they confirmed the show completely sidelined Adam to focus on Teela - despite the claim being denied by the Kevin himself. And also laughed hard when they confirmed her becoming the new Sorceress, as it was evident from the first season. A pretty good track of "laughing at fan predictions that get it right, despite the showrunners' best efforts to deny it", if you ask me. Alas, I guess this is a "who laughs last" situation.

I hope I'm wrong. First of all, the trailer looks great. We are shown a lot of scenes where He-Man seems to be the focal point of the story. However, I still think this will be a Teela centric show. The people who edited this trailer clearly had no qualms showing off what could have been huge plot twists IF it was a story about He-Man. Notice that they were careful not to show Teela finally transforming into the new Sorceress. That tells me, that her becoming the new Sorceress is the more important plot point they are holding off from being revealed. Being a Teela centric show isn't really a problem, to be honest, if they marketed the show as the Masters of the Universe sequel from the point of view of Teela becoming the new Sorceress, it would have been more appreciated. I think this is still the story that is waiting to be completed in part 2. Sadly, I just wish they were more honest with the viewers instead of using bait and switch tactics... Why would they show Savage He-Man fighting Skelegod if that was supposed to be the epic moment of the show? Simple. It isn't...

@@JoeChianelli there were no "repercussions" just as how there were no good reasons for leaving teela and his father in the dark when everyone else knew. There was no character development for Adam, he was just a nice guy who kept a secret from people he shouldn't have. The character development is gonna be in part 2 when he finally let's go of the burden of being he man and entrusts that power to a new protector. Which for sure people aren't going to be happy about. Speaking of character development, they did an awful job with teela... there's no need to make her insufferable so that she can later learn to be less selfish and less focused on her own stupid feelings. There's no need for her to be angry. No need for her to act the way she did before the king and queen, Adam and her own father. What's wrong with just feeling hurt that a friend kept something from you that he shouldn't have, and now he's gone and you're deprived if the opportunity to share his burden because you cared? People can feel hurt and betrayed without lashing out. It's called being an adult.
