The start of this stickmen story stuff starts with the Animation Vs Animator series. And then these AvA shorts, which Alan compiled into one big video and called it Animation Vs Animator 5 (there were 4 others before this). You can still watch them as shorts (preferably in order since, well, that's in order) though since nothing really changes except there isn't a to be continued screen.
