His voice is a bit too thin live though. He should work on his range a bit more. It sounds like hes struggling to get power from his voice.

Rahul Kapoor Hearing how a band performs live is a true testament of how good a band really is, to me. Music videos use the album version which is crafted into perfection with multiple takes and editing with an array of digital tools at the producer's disposal. There isn't any of that when you hear a band live.
@RahulKapoor99928 жыл бұрын
thank you for your philosophical answer. But what i meant was that horny humans have preferred watching the music video over a live video. Thats why less views on this.

People bitch about the drummer's singing. Why don't you try jogging around and sing at the same time. I am sure it is difficult to manage your breathing playing this kind of music and singing at the same time.
@Grimeyhoob7 жыл бұрын
His voice is just a bit thin. He should maybe work on his technique with a vocal instructor. True it is hard to be drumming and singing, especially with how challenging his drumming is. But he can still improve the power of the vocals
@gudalpesanz7 жыл бұрын
He sounds great. I don't understand the bfd on his singing and playing drums at the same time. If he wasn't a part of the triple tag team vocals, the sound or the feel of the band would change and there would be a lot of pissed fans.
@gudalpesanz7 жыл бұрын
Sea Change he has a beautiful voice. He doesn't need a vocal coach. His voice harmonizes well with the other 2 singers.

Love Mostodon, but this is a song you bring out the drum tech to play this one and he takes a position front and center. No one would complain for 1-2 songs a set

@@justinwright1745 I love the Rev and he has been one of my favorite musicians for a very long time but Brann is on another level, rev was great on backing vocals or singing a little section of a song but he never did stuff like Brann where he was doing tough ass lead vocals and playing. Best thing about the Rev was his overall musicianship and his songwriter, very good drummer and solid unique voice. He was basically just the complete package as a musician. So while I think Brann was a better drummer and singer I will always love rev and his songwriting/overall composition skills were pretty special. Sad he was only around for a short period,died so young

Gonçalo Ferreira this isn't really a metal song. It's more hard arena rock. Which isn't a problem at all. Mastodon basically just plays whatever the fuck they want. Even an arena rock song like this.

People need to get off of Brann’s tits about his singing. That guy goes through a lot of fatigue on stage bashing out the drumming he does then expecting to smash his vocals, he’s gonna be a little uneasy, his voice will wobble every now and then. But he’s got some badass vibrato and I think he’s doing better than a vast majority of musicians could do in his specific shoes
