Helpful advice Caitlin. May I merely add one thing? Breathing. When close to orgasm, even breathing very hard, we tend to get less oxygen and even hold our breath. Therefore, if we mistakenly hold our breath earlier on, or even just clench up the stomach muscles too much (if we are not comfortable and relaxed), this can lead to early fireworks. Any degree of morbid self-consciousness, where we are not "in our body" (interoception), but instead thinking, or observing ourselves, can lead to this premature lack of oxygen, which is no good.
