Sir napansin ko lang gamit niyo po SBC is 100Kpa pero yung max base pressure nasa 221kpa pass po ba yun?

what if soil base pressure exceed soil bearing capacity? for example SBC is 100kn/m² only but soil pressure shown is the program has values nearing 200 kn/m² , does that mean the soil fail? if so why is there no warning shown just like other failure types?

That's bearing failure and there should be a warning for that.

@@AEDOENGINEERING hi, thank you for the response. i am not seeing any warning, i am trying to model a mat foundation following your video , and the only part where the program asks for SBC input was for calculating subgrade modulus. Mat design checks are all good like punching and reinforcements and stuff in the reports, but i noticed base soil pressures are higher than the SBC i want on the moment envelope option part.

Hi Sir, naencounter ko kasi during design ng MAT Foundation itong problem na ito "support y coordinate is different with y coordinate of mat region in staad foundation", ano po magandang soultion dito?. Salamat in advance.

You can do mat footing design for lift foundation. With walls instead of columns
