Always excited to see a Santa Maria Novella being discussed. Far too little attention to the brand, maybe because it's so hard to sample unless you go to their boutiques. I mostly want to hear about Bizzarria. I am going to test that Miller Harris. Great review as always!!

I just tested Zagara this week. Loved it! I ordered a sample from Luckyscent in Los Angeles. They carry a few from SMN, but sadly not the new 4 of the Jardin line. @@fanfreluche

I'm a big fan of the Santa Maria range. Last week (whilst leaving the Perth airport) I was wearing as my travel fragrance Pot Pouri (have you tested this one?? First time someone else has acknowledged Town and Country has a prominent Oud note - all the other notes are built around it and it’s hard to detect the clary sage. The Churchill thing is a marketing fiction though - the one created for Churchill has nothing to do with this iteration anyway.

Ummm, let me say you would need at least 2 weeks😬....whenever I walk in I get incredibly distracted and for the first 30mins I just walk around on my own checking out all the shelves and smelling perfume bottles (it's heaven😂) Great to hear from you @hmagix9554, thanks for reaching out

Raw Gold arrived and I really really love it. I had Ombre Leather and that was light. I much prefer this. The scent gets very cozy. It is very rich, deep, and a tad sweet. It has a lipstick note but not girly if you get me. I say it is Iris and heavenly. Ive got Dior Homme Intense 2011 and LOVE that. I can see combo'ing this with my Dior. Im thinking of layering with my Tony Iommi. On its own Raw Gold to me is very sexy. Oh it has a tad plum note and tad dark honey. The staying power is very long. Ive been visiting Seattle and the sun was blazing hard when I was wearing this. At night and cool to winter days I say it is ideal. I got 3 samples (Costume Liquide by Pierre Guillaume Paris, Hacivat, and MFK Amyris). Costume Liquide is so good! It is fresh green aromatic and slight sweet. It has Iris so a big plus with me too. Im thinking full bottle buy now. Hacivat is amazing and I also dont have this scent profile of my 40+ frags. Amyris was like my Jose Eisenberg. It has coffee and milk chocolate and creamy type.

Great video! I love Mortel by trudon but haven't had the opportunity to smell the noir version. What are the main differences between the two? I also became curious if you've ever come across a maté perfume or note in a fragrance before? I believe Cologne Cedrat by Matière première uses a maté note in the base. I came across it after I saw your videos on other matière première fragrances. I think I may have to buy encens suave or falcon leather soon
