I have an idea to make this game more accurate. I know the devs are trying to make this this game as accurate as possible to real life, but there is one innacuracy that triggers me constantly. Why are the black ants called formica fusca? You have literally forgot that they shoot acid like f. rufa! Why not replace them with Lasius Niger, the black garden ant? That would make the game so much more accurate and you dont even have to change anything, just a couple of voicelines and in game texts. This idea will also benefit nobody except me, so feel free to laugh at it...

The Devs do know they can shoot acid, they’re just meant as starter ants to get players used to the basic mechanics. Not to mention that they’re hosts for the Slavemaker species in game (as as well for the Wood Ants). There’s also how in the story we’re playing as a genetically modified Formica species, as such the scientists integrated the Black and Wood ants first into them since both are part of the same genus before trying something outside of it (IE the Leafcutters).

Feels like the stink ants and the matabele ants are the weakest so far Matabeles have that Fire Ant mechanic where they ll beat the enemy in numbers and not in quality while the Driver Ants and sometimes Termites are combat capable than them Stink ants idk!They just big and have like big health (probably they are tank (blue) ants while the driver ants have only attack (red) ants Hope when the this whole thing get released to do a whole bunch of testings to see theyr advantages and dissadvantages

“Not in quality” wdym? matabele soldiers grow much, much larger comparatively to their lvl 1 size when upgraded then any other ant and can stand up to devils coach horse beetles much like the leafcutter major and overwhelming enemies is not a fire ant mechanic, its a core part of every single complete colony even the leafcutters whos majors are tanky, dragging aggro to themselves and keeping weaker ants alive thus saving food that can be used to pump out even more ants Both termite major soldiers and driver ant majors get absolutely bodied against a matabele soldier in a 1v1 and the difference grows larger when upgraded. Stink ants are weaker leafcutter majors, lvl 3 leafcutters are larger then stink ants but their numbers grow exponentially in size making them extremely dangerous The shield icon for an ant doesn’t mean it does less damage and have more health (army ant major lol), it simply means it has a larger durability to cost ratio then other ants Matabele game plan is “win the fight come back stronger” when they win a skirmish they can revive dead ants reducing costs and increasing army size, they can beat enemy colonies in BOTH quality and quantity because their soldiers very tanky for their size. If it was “quantity over quality” that would mean making matabeles even more undersized then they already are

how? stink ants are probably one of the most powerful ants in the game at the moment. it does massive damage, has a gigantic health pool, and can hit multiple enemies at once. matabeles do great overtime sting damage, have amazing physical damage, and medics can revive ants to effectively double an entire army. termites and driver ants are only more capable at the start of levels, when you're army is very small. if you watched a youtuber who was good at the game, you could tell they completely overpower a termite nest with their armies late game. also, colors only signal if their meant to be a tank, or damager, etc.
