Thank you so much for the Ireland round up but what I wanted to know was what you wore, what didn't you wear due to weather, what you needed and didn't pack and what you should have left at home! I will be packing for a cruise in February and packing videos really help me whittle down my packing list to a reasonable length. So glad that your Mum managed the trip well. I am not surprised that the poor woman was exhausted. I liked the clothes!

Great chat! I agree about trying on things..I saw the black and white cotton dress from marks in the shop and thought that won’t suit me and tried it on and loved it. ! Just a hint, if you use the showers on any campsite you use, a bag for the shower is easier if you have a handle to hang it up in case there is not a shelf/bench to put it on! Happy camping!

I ordered the magnesium tablets that you recommended and have started taking them. I am having so much trouble with my tummy and am now having tests to try and see what the problem, I have IBS but this is much worse than I usually have. Hope your first caravan trip goes well. So glad you managed to get to Ireland with your mum. It’s not easy when there is some one with mobility issues. It’s lovely to hear you had a lovely time. As a person who is wheelchair bound I will only travel now from East Midlands Airport. I have been abroad to lots of places and they need to come over here and teach our special assistants in our airports. The people in East Midlands are great.

An old friend of mine who has literally been to almost every country in the world told me of all the places she has been too the most beautiful place was Ireland. So i think it is a must that i visit before i am too old to do so. lol. My mother in law's people are from there. I bet your Mom was done in such a large trip for her age. Honestly my Mom at 91 could barely walk anymore and she had no stamina, bless her heart, she really just wanted to die, she said she lived too long, i miss her beyond words. She seriously was the best woman and so kind. Glad you had fun, how fun would having 5 sisters be. My Mom had 5 sisters as well. I unfortunately had none, just an older brother.

What a shame about your heart on your bracelet I lost mine in the park while dog walking a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. I re traced my steps but to no avail😩 It was one of my favourites so I went on line and got another like new from eBay. The original one was from Q.V.C and it also had a large heart hanging down. Now I have another so I’m happy again 🥰 it’s amazing how attached you become to them. Xx

Hi Helen - glad you had a good holiday in Ireland. When my children were young we spent many a happy holiday in our touring caravan in Kinsale which is really beautiful. As the family got older they were more keen to go abroad and so caravan was sold. My husband was always keen to get another caravan just for the two of us when we retired but sadly he took a stroke and died. I just wish I had gone ahead and bought it because it would have made him so happy. You never know what is around the corner. I am from Northern Ireland and perhaps if you are in Ireland again you will visit the North as there are some nice spots there with lovely scenery. Eliz

Great to hear all your family had a lovely holiday. Precious memories with your mum she is amazing for her age. My mother is 93 but unfortunately she is quite frail now and doesn’t go out much now. Love the black and white blouse definitely a keeper. Thanks for showing us. Xxxxx

Glad you’ve had a lovely break with your family and it nice to see you back. I agree with you about Marks, I think their standards have definitely slipped they don’t even present their clothes in the stores smartly anymore, dirty marks on them and some items look as if they’ve been slept in (not ironed). I used to work for them many moons ago and it makes me sad to see. 😊

Meant to also say…..yes, keep trying if there is a particular item you really want. I ordered a field jacket from Joules in a sale (only way I was going to afford it) and was so excited when it arrived. But…it was too big and I had to return. Alas the smaller size was not available. I was mortified and even rang Joules direct who gave me sound advice to check the listings several times a day. I was a woman on a mission but sobbing onto my laptop! The gods looked down on me and I struck lucky after about ten days. Someone, bless them, must have returned the correct size and that jacket became mine! Happy days! Xx Liz

So pleased you had a lovely time in Ireland, I've never been but would love to go at some point. Nice haul too 👍. Re M&S, I ordered some flowers for my daughter as a surprise for her birthday as I was going to be able to spend the day with her. They never arrived on her birthday as I'd ordered and came the day after by which time I'd gone home (in fairness, I did get emails from them to say there was a problem with the delivery). She did say they were nice but I never physically saw them. Naturally I got the email from M&S asking for a review which I submitted. I did say that I couldn't truly comment on what the flowers were like as I didn't see them because they arrived a day late and I'd returned home by then. I then got another email asking me to re-submit my review as they thought I'd focused more on the delivery and not the flowers 😳😡. You couldn't make it up could you. Needless to say I didn't re-submit my review and I checked to see if they'd published what I'd originally written and they haven't. I won't order flowers from them again, and correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you paying for the delivery on your specified date as part of the gift?

Nice to have you back Helen. It sounded like a lovely time in Ireland making happy memories. We are currently in Sicily and I must say we had issues with special assistance here. I was not allowed to push my husband in a wheel chair from the plane and as previously we had to wait over an hour for assistance in Gatwick last month we just wanted to get to our car hire etc. it’s sucks when you can’t get about so easily. Now I’m rambling lol. Love the clothes. You have a lovely figure and suit so many styles. Love the dress with the tummy hiding feature. Also the gillet. Xx
