Hi Susan, I don’t see a problem with wearing stripes. One problem with this jumper is the dropped sleeves, it makes the stripes go in all directions at your shoulders

Hey there Susan. The boho top looked great on you. Have you ever tried turning the garment inside out and then pinning a gentle approximate 4 inch section then hand sewing it? It will give you a more fitted look. I have done this with quite a few garments which I have purchased. I really enjoy your vids. You are very precise and thorough. Thank you. 😊

Hi Susan , stuff the fashion ‘ rule book ‘ you like stripes you wear stripes ‼️. I wasn’t keen on that big white waist band either which is a pity as the sweatshirt itself was really nice . Trouser length has become the bane of my life … truly 🤬 . The Boo ho top was so pretty and feminine, couldn’t you exchange for a smaller size 🤷🏻‍♀️❓. Haven’t been to Matalan for years , it’s some distance from home and hubby not keen on the drive 🤣. Thank goodness it’s gotten a little warmer 🙏🏻. Take care sweet lady , much love 🫶🏻💐. Oh , I almost forgot , the red dress does NOT look shapeless or like a nightshirt 😂 it is actually very flattering especially with thick winter tights and some boots 🫶🏻

There's nothing more annoying. I even double check everything at the till, because I'm OCD about getting the wrong size item, to the stated hanger size. It's so annoying when you find a perfect piece, to find it's never going to fit. Shops need to sort themselves out.

I see no issue with stripes, although all the rules say they should be a no no. However the fit of the sweatshirt just wasn't right so not for me xx

Really liked the striped top but understand the issue with the bottom edge , could possibly tuck that under,. I also liked the boho top and would check for a smaller size. Sizing from so many shops is all over the place not just Matalan. Continue exploring fashion Susan it really will help to find your style and let's us see what is out there. ❤

Thank you, ive got new lighting so I think that's why you think I look better than normal,lol. I'm a 29in inseam and prefer to buy petite trousers etc. Hope this helps xx

You're way more disciplined than me. To my shame, I go to Sales knowing what I need. As soon as I spot the discount labels, that all flies out of the window. I leave with pieces I never knew I needed.... probably because I didn't!! 😂 "bargains" 🙄

Hey Susan you look beautiful as always and it’s a very nice haul. I really like the last blouse! And I don’t think it’s too big. It would definitely look pretty tucked in and if you feel like it looks better than I would wear it in. I would tuck it in because it’s my comfort zone. But I really like it in you untucked. It’s loose and flowing but that gives it a pretty and feminine look and it lets your figure and curves show without hugging them. I would love to see you tuck it in and again wear it the way you feel looks best but it’s prettier like you styled it here then you thought. You know I’m a tuck fan but I’m always going to be fully honest with you and I think everything in this video the way you styled them is lovely and beautiful. I hope you are well. ❤

@ very well! I finally after almost 10 years confirmed exactly how they go and erased all doubt. I thought they went in both ears exactly the same but yesterday my audiologist said no we treat each ear on people as if they are on different people because each person’s two ear canals are totally different. I got a new pair but from a company of lesser quality so they are a backup or spare set better than the old ones I was using as spares.

The 14 sounds like the wrong hanger. The only rules in fashion are the ones we put on ourselves. Your so right clothes need to fit and flatter us. Matalan I adore there gym clothes and there soft tailored clothes. All brands have the own sizes it’s the jeans that get me same store same jeans different colours you need different sizes.

Sizing is so contentious and as you say differ so much even within one store. That's why I say sizing is just a number on a label and try not to get too worried by what that number is! x

@ easier said than done the clothes industry has so much power that’s effects people. We seam to be going through a tall skinny phase at the minute and it will change. But the trends never suit people with a different shape. I love boot cut jeans but there’s so long for my little legs so I mainly wear my skinny jeans that if I listened to the fashionistas that’s wrong hey ho.

Matalan was much loved and frequented, by me, when I lived in the Uk ( plus I owned half the stock in Brantano shoe shop 😂) Sorry, I'm not a fan of the striped top. You, maybe, could try shoulder pads to give it more shape?. ( I know it's a dropped sleeve style, but I feel it could be more flattering. I have quite broad shoulders but, sometimes, I wear small shoulder pads under certain items) I do really like the red and black dress, maybe worn over leggings? ( I dont wear tunics, as I find them ageing, so I wear mini length dresses over them. They give a younger vibe, I feel ,and there are so many to choose from) I'm a sucker for anything with a black background 😆. Maybe add a black belt? I'm not a fan of the colours in the Boho blouse. You suit more vibrant colours, such as the beautiful eyelash jumper in a recent haul. That lit your whole face up, and accentuated your lovely eyes! Sorry Susan, but not a great haul this time. I still enjoyed the Vlog. Thanks for your time x

I like the striped sweatshirt and it looks very nice. The white band is not as bad as you are saying. I like that top a lot! It's a shame you don't like it. The red flowered dress looks very nice on you and does NOT look like a sleep shirt. It proportions you in a good way. The brown top isn't doing you any favors. It looks frumpy and something an old lady would wear. I'm of the mind that young people look good in boho, but older people look like they are just trying too hard to relive the past! Ugh!
