As an avvid COD Zombies nerd that started playing since BO2, watching Mata go through the og first map of COD Zombies, get the timeless Ray Gun *& trade it for another gun* is a chain of events you'd only expect from this cockroach queen. I especially loved Mata getting spooked & jumped behind from Zombies like at 1:36 but I hope this gets Mata into playing the other Zombies maps in her spare time. 😂❤

Considering the potential to take lethal splash damage from the Ray Gun in Nacht Der Untoten from being too close to even just one shot... in a Zombies mode with two-swipe-down on a map without Jugger-Nog, I'd sooner take a MG42 or PPSh-41...

Nah I'd swap the Raygun too if there is no PHD Flopper, self damage is hella bad in the older games when you get 2 shotted before getting Jug. Though I'm swapping it for something about as good.

To be fair, the other top tier weapons in WaW have similarly bad drawbacks. The machine guns leave you stuck with an 80% movement speed as well as a painful reload time and the PPSh tends to run into ammo problems on maps without Pack-a-Punch. The Ray Gun being a high DPS weapon with plenty of ammo, a decent reload speed, and 100% movement speed is actually kind of worth that drawback compared to the rest of the guns in WaW.

That's strange, mostly because almost a lot of Wonder Weapons doesn't deal damage to yourself with a very few exceptions ( The OG Ray Gun, The Wunderwaffe DG-2, The Jet Gun when explodes, The Scavenger, The Acid Gat and The Magmagat but i'm not sure about that last one ) aside from this ones all the Wonder Weapons don't deal damage to you and even then whes you use PHD some of the ones i mentioned before are harmless to you

Tbf ray gun was always trash noob-bate it has no point building and doesnt have headshot damage being a splash weaponand can technically get beat out by some of the snipers in the series one shot kills in later rounds i never really liked it an and would rather run around with like trenchgun and thompson or a big boy machine gun in waw and other gun combos in later games its not even a good panick weapon when you have like mule kick cause of splash and its weak damage compared to other wonder weapons so id only realy pick it up if the map had flopper and the people i played with loved me cause they could have there noob bate and thought it was cool

Zkyll yzzue, but to be fair the Ray Gun is trash on BO3, while in BO1 and BO2 can go to round 30 in BO3 it can't kill on round 20, BO4 it's a bit better, and in Cold War IT WAS THE BEST Wonder Weapon on the game, even after 4 nerfs it's still one of the best Box weapons in the game and the best Ray Gun on all the Zombies History

I honestly stopped playing after blundel decided to take it into the marvel multiverse route and stopped even paying attention to the story line after it supposedly ended with the shadow man dead and Monte locking the characters in a universe they were never supposed to escape

@@johnokland1652 The Story ended in BO4 with the muktiverse being destroyed and everything and everyone sended into the Dark Aether destroying the Multiverse, leaving one single universe ( actually 2 but the other one is the Dark Aether ) free of 115, Zombies, Apothycon, Monty, Shadowmon and Keepers, Eveyone died for it to be accomplished except Samantha Maxis and "Eddie" ( An innocent version of Edward Richtofen, it's his Soul in form of a child ) both arrived into the new universe without memories from the past and could live in peace... Of course, everything went fownhill because the new universe discovered the Dark Aether and now Eddie and Sam want to kill eachother... And yes, people played Cold War, it was a... good experience atleast, pretty decent a new formula and all, then Vanguard came, the worst game on all cod history and the worst zonbies but it haved a nice lore for the Dark Aether and made the chaos history canon for Aether too so it's good they didn't leave that throwed, MWZ it's an extraction shooter with zombies and BO6 it's the best we had in years, we have a Zombies crew ( You can use operators but they are optional and don't interact with eachother and have less reactions than the Zombie Crew ), imo it's at bo4 level or even higher... About blundell stuff yeah that made some quit the mode but Zielinski also haved some things... The Time Cycle Gary and Brock were trapped introduced... Tune cycles! Wich blundell used later on, Agartha was something that Zielinski also introduced in Shangri-La, he also left some Alien and Magic things, The PaP creation history was also already done done WaW since the PaP jingle is about that... A lot of things Blundell did were things Zielinski were toying with but not foccused on even Buried ending wasn't written by him, Blundell was since Der Riese too, Elemental weapons were supposed to make their debbut in Shangri-La but ended up cut and goes and goes... Yeah a lot happened there is a VA strike going ( SAG-AFTRA decided to go on strike because the contracts didn't offer protection agaisnt using AI generation to replicate their voices and use it even after their dead without consent or compensation to the voice actors to avoid ) that may make the game loose Julie Nathanson and Nolan North ( Sam and Richtofen ). A lot happened and wil happen

@@johnokland1652 Ok to sumarise, Yeah folks played CW but BO6 is far more popular and also improved the new zombies formula to almost perfection. In the ending in BO4 everyone except Samantha and Richtofen died. Some ( or a lot ) of voice actors are on strike because they don't have protection against AI. And CoD now sells loading screens and Callung cards made with AI... Yeah...
