I watched this back when it released and honestly I didn’t understand the movie at all. Mostly because i was too naive and also because the timelines were kind of confusing for me. It was like just another average movie that came and passed. However i watched it again a month back and boy do i feel grateful for its existence! This movie is a legit legit masterpiece, was way ahead of its time, and so touching. The way story moves at its own sweet pace, the attention to little details, the sync of scenes, and how it ends; just perfect. u can either completely understand TAMASHA or not ...there is no in between 😼

Ranbir had to choose different kind of movies because his real taste and choice of script couldn't give him good BO collection and at some point of time BO collection matters, how big an artist one may be. Bollywood will rule you out if you are not in 200cr club. That's the harsh reality. I wish Tamasha was not given its due love and respect. I hope someday Ranbir returns to his choice even for one film when he has done alot of commercial success film. These kinds of film stays deep in my memory. This song is a marvel. Imtiaz Ali is a great director for Ranbir and also for Deepika. AR Rahman is greatness personified. Mohit Chauhan is absolutely charming with his voice and perfect for Ranbir. Deepika and Ranbir has a genuine chemistry. That is how they support each other so well. I have watched this movie in cinema hall on first day. I still have it's memory.

Tamasha is not a movie for the ordinary people. You need a certain sensitivity to be able to feel what the protagonist is feeling. It is a not a no brainer movie. There are scenes wherein such minute details are picked up which will strike you later on.💖💫
