zip tie routing fix is clever and works, but they make a purpose built tool for that, that is much easier to use lol. I recommend you invest in one (they are super cheap) if you plan on continuing to work on exotics. Will make your life MUCH better in the future.

I think it would be fascinating to see you working on a car in a Wisconsin barn that was purchased sight unseen with Derek from Vice Grip Garage or maybe him in England helping you sort out mechanicals on a rescued super car.

Removing the rear bumper might actually reduce airflow over the intakes, with no resistance to airflow it probably creates a lower pressure area because the air can simply escape in all directions and isn't forced to flow over the intake. Think ducted fan vs open fan.
