@@voterking In my opinion it's definitely fast enough and with the manual gearbox it's such good fun and the way it revs is unmatched, I'm not a fan of turbocharged engines (I have to confess I'm not entirely sure if the RS5/6 of which generation is or isn't so I won't say anything about this) but the fact the M3 is NA makes me such a huge fan of this car, the fact that on track its a long way faster than the opponents in this class is a bonus. I personally don't like sheer track day cars (KTM XBow etc.) so I won't bother with them even tho theyre faster. But I have to say I'm a bimmer fanboy, ever been always will be😂 I won't fight with anyone who likes other cars even tho in my mind they aren't just quite as good ;)

I own a B7 S4 which is essentially the same power plant minus the direct injection. Makes about 340HP claimed from the factory. I have a tune on mine, full exhaust without cats and it still feels pretty heavy and a bit slower than my friends bone stock B8.5 S4. That 3.0T is a great damn motor. If I had to chose it would be the 3.0T over the 4.2 all day. But the sound of the 4.2 is just amazing.

The 3.0t is a supercharged, not turbocharged engine. If you are in the Connecticut area Ron Crawford, I'd be happy to let you run against my S6. It's a twin turbo V8 on an APR stage 1 tune. I was considering a 3.0t A6 when I happened on the S6. The 3.0t is definitely a great motor, and I agree the 4.2 sounds great

The S5 is down on power.Quite a lot.The thing is running 100hp less that it shoud have.But even if it did have those i think the Beemer would have still won.I love how the S5 looks both from the outside and inside.I think that the BMW just looks like a slightly older car.I would love to get my hands on a Manual S5. I didn't think my Audi a5 2008 had Bluetooth but it had an aftermarket kit from kufatech fiscon professionally fitted which uses steering controls. I had to activate it to play music.

Hey Mat, should you want bluetooth on your MMI, look for the Dension Gateway 500BT, it has a seamless integration to the mmi. I used to have it myself and it worked pretty good. Sometimes it went crazy and wouldn't properly play music, or freeze in a menu, but it did get the job done 90% of the time.

I've so far had two of the dynamic dampers replaced, and the gearbox out to replace the stronic control board! as well as the usual parking brake failure due to humidity ingress at the rear wheel well where the control module is located...! It does sound good tho haha

Like I commented on that dyno video, Audi cats are known to fail and cost you a lot of exhaust flow, killing power and mpg. Do decat downpipes, have the rear o2’s coded out and check again.

The M3 is the undisputed middleweight champion and seeing as they have stopped making the coupe and convertible it's also the undefeated champion too. My boss has a 09 plate and I can't see what the negatives are. Also what would be the main differences between Matt's S5 and an RS5?
