Siko fiti is one message that should be played on replay most especially amongst the artists of today. For me, I am a spoken word poet and I speak through my poetry. When I listened to this song it reminded me of one of my latest pieces GUN IN MY HEAD *GUN IN MY HEAD* There's a gun in my head I have it turned on myself Countless times But i can't seem to fit my fingers through the heated triggers So I drown in my silence Having conversations with demons That I wish exist But the only devils I see Are some of those who smile back at me So now the gun in my head Turns on them Teasing them with a countdown to 3 One, For taking my trust for granted Never mind the times you claimed to be a friend Two, For leaving it all to God When we both know the spirit you took Wasn't Holy enough Three The number of times I said It will take for me to break Three The number of chances That I would give way to excuses Three A number that would get me to pull that trigger But the gun in my head Keeps turning to the one in the mirror So I blame her For the times she looked back And did nothing to stop those cracks For that time she told me speak When silence was the strategy I blamed her For the times I fell flat letting the world tell me how I should act For allowing me to be the joker When royalty flows in my blood I blamed her For she was an easier target One who gets stabbed but still has the energy to smile back Coz when it hurts so good addiction becomes an option So she holds on to the gun in her head But she can't seem to fit her fingers through the burning triggers Coz somewhere within her She wants to be seen She is such an open book But the world is illiterate So she tries to find meaning In other people's faces That gun in your head How many times have you turned it on your self Do your fingers fit through the trigger Or is it a matter of giving life to death As you lift a body that fights to survive And deal with a mind that tries to die That gun in your head How many times has it closed a book instead of turning a page?
