Great fishing mate. You never know what you will catch in the mangroves it's a natural fish nursery there are loads of places like this with fish that's why it's important to take care of the natural habitats. epic bowly

You've got the cod knack, for sure. So much so that you get stick on other Queensland fishos' channels. Mick in particular. Oh well. As someone watching from the other side of the Tasman, I must admit I don't understand the fascination with flicking lures into the mangroves for mostly small fish that barely pull line (barra excluded), when you can stay out in the main bay and target tuna, queenfish, trevs, trout etc.

Don't knock it until you try it! Also, having a small boat like mine doesn't allow you to be targeting the pelagic fish very frequently with the weather here mate.

@@bowlysfishing Okay, fair call re the boat limitations. Didn't factor that as the conditions often look mint in the vids. I'm jealous of the pelagic fishing, particularly the variety of species. Glad you get to the outer reef etc with the likes of Matty, and are getting some good collabs with Mick, Drew etc. Living the dream, good on you.
