I think if Lascelles is fit, Howe plays him ahead of Burn at centre back (maybe plays Burn at left back). If that's right we're playing with our 4th and 5th choice central defenders. I guess Guehi would be ahead of them too but for the inconvenient fact that we didn't sign him. And they're bossing it!

If Lascelles was fit he'd play him as the right-sided centre back instead of Krafth. Burn will only be displaced by a left-sided centre back, which would either be Botman or Lloyd Kelly.

Kelly for the first goal ;-) Getting a bit of stick from some 'fans' . The lad is only settling in . Patience needed .This footage over the last couple of years is epic! Really captures the feel of being there . Have experienced it more than once . Imagine how Sandro felt when he saw the reception . A man facing serious adversity for a lengthy period . Probably hit rock bottom and thought he was f%&ked . Then he experiences that . Not many clubs in the biggest leagues in the world would show such support . F$*k the begrudgers .

Living in the Philippines I watched the game live on my computer. The game I watched does not capture the atmosphere like these MATCH CAM recordings. I feel like I am almost THERE in SJP. I left UK in 1975 and unfortunately have never been to SJP since. I was able to watch the toon only once, at Brighton. I was in SJP when Supermac scored a hat trick on his home debut.

The performances have to improve, this is bruce ball all over again. The results are good but the football is absolutely atrocious. Bruno, joelinton need to link the play much better and the defence need to be able to pass to Newcastle players faster to progress the ball, too often it goes back and then we are right back on our box again. This can't continue.

I agree that you should always be looking at areas to improve but you should also be celebrating success regardless of how it came about. There is no doubt that we’ll come unstuck playing like this for too much longer but they’ll also be times when we play well and lose. Let’s judge the deal makers in January as undoubtedly we’ll be looking to do business then. Hopefully Botman will be back to his best at that time that may cause us to be looking at other areas to strengthen like RW. HTL 🖤🤍
