Why would they choose their class solely based on race? Why not choose the class on the people who had the high MCAT scores, who had interviewed well, who had a solid undergrad GPA, and who had the best letter of recommendations?

@@Laura-nx5cl Don't reach. That all plays into an application, obviously. However, diversity should also be part of that class you are describing. To encourage future generations, include and promote different perspectives, and overall inspire change in underrepresented communities. All schools have offices and panels to promote cultural inclusion in some form but when there is only 1 black male in this whole graduation class it raises some questions.
