Hate this question mate but here goes 😂. I’m only guessing but I’m not bad . I reckon in good conditions I’m fishing with bait about 125 - 130 yards . I also think that in the same conditions, the anglers that win at Bacton are putting baited traces 180 . Duane is putting a 1 hook clipped down 200 yards I reckon. All guess work but I was not far enough to get in the deeper water and fish that exist on the other side of the bar in front of the caravan park . Same every time my friend 👍

Another work location, I was involved with the beach works a few years ago , stayed at castaways we removed the old outfalls and pumped a huge amount of sand in.

Not intended to offend. Just thought it would be nice to show an insight into the life of a bait digger . Whatever I do I will get criticism. John is a really popular, knowledgeable, time served bait digger , known by many and I thought he and myself would be able to create an informative video. In reality, most people who watch my channel will never buy bait in Norfolk. It’s more about helping new sea anglers understand bait . That’s all it is

@@pondpetefishing9976 nice vid again, that seal was maybe under the weather, never had one hang around out of water, as an angler for over 60 years, I've never caught a fish that I didn't do harm to, they tend to fight as they have a hook in their mouth and are being pulled from their environment, dragging fish along the beach by the hook is not great, unless you're about to kill it, many times I've seen dead undersize fish on the beach as the tide goes back, that's why I use barbless hooks,. a fish friendly landing net and unhooking mat when course fishing. and how many fish have you caught that is not bleeding?

Hay ho you can't catch if they aren't there I fish silloth 4 last4 month s never cought any thing 4 first 2 week s then got doggy small then smooth pup then big thoun back female then bull huss then small Ray 5 day s a go I was the only Fisher man to catch wat was it
