I was bidding on that W554 Grove, as I grew up in Springfield, MA where the Bonemery Ice Cream location was, but it just wasn't meant to be. I'm glad it landed in your great collection. Love how low pop those stamped versions are. Thanks for sharing.

@peasofcardboard I appreciate that, my friend! That is a great piece in my Grove collection for sure. Have you gone after other stamped cards?

You're very welcome, Aaron! I started going down the pre-war rabbit hole a few years ago and I can't say I was familiar with that set. I did get lucky and landed both a Foxx and Grove 1933 Uncle Jacks Candy card last winter, both are graded a PSA 3. That deal I was able to meet the seller locally and work off eBay, which was a little crazy, but it thankfully worked out. Both are a PSA 3 and Grove is a PSA pop 1 of 1. That set, coincidentally, was also distributed regionally out of Springfield. I had never knew cards had a history in my hometown and was fun to learn about both the 1933 Uncle Jacks set and then the W554. Cheers to landing more rare beauties in the future. Best, Matt Peaslee
