I really enjoy these old Match Game episodes and this show just every episode has such good energy coming from it. This looks like such a amazing time when people really knew how laugh and entertain. One of my wishes is I wish go back there and actually see a episode being taped in the 70's and see all these funny people as they were. Wouldn't that be amazing.

Homonyms can be deadly in the Super Match questions because you never know if the survey audience knew the words were different or just went by the sound. Best bet is to figure that the audience contains a large number of dimwits who will go by sound.

I wish you'd stop hating on Brett because I see you post on every single Match Game episode. Brett Somers is fabulous, funny, brilliant and Brett has said "It's the best job she's ever had in this business." I love and adore her so much. Match Game wouldn't be the same without Brett. I really think he was just trying to be silly and gets some laughs or at least upset a bit that they didn't understand the question.. I don't think he got a kick out of it thou, I believe that Gene, like Richard, really wanted the contestants to win money.. But I could be wrong yet again.. ;0) It might also be in frustration since they are usually chosen because they can play the game but then I guess then get in front fo the camera, lights, audience and panel and just go blank.. ;0)
