Richard makes me wish I could smoke a 4-foot cigarette watching him smoke. I was smoking heavy in '75 as a 15-year-old. My wife & I were forced to quit in 2009 due to my stepdaughter getting a heart transplant. Smelling cigarette smoke makes her deathly ill ever since she received the transplant. My wife quit before I did. She finally made me choose between smoking or losing her & her two daughters and our son at the time who was only 4. Well, that was a no brainer! This year makes 10 yrs we've been quit cold turkey!!!

H/H match update: ... Richard was chosen again. This makes 16 of the last 18 H/H matches that he's played, and now he's matched 7 of those 16 times. "________ Bud" I thought of rose and since no other possibility came to mind, it seemed likely that our champion was finally going to get her head-to-head match (this was the fourth game she'd won and her third try at the big money). ... and Richard scores his 120th H/H match. Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Fannie - 50% (9 wins in 18 attempts). Betty - 46.9% (15 wins in 32 attempts). Charles - 45.2% (19 wins in 42 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 39.1% (120 wins in 307 attempts). Brett - 38.3% (18 wins in 47 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 558, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")

She's like a Chatty Cathy doll, except she pulls her own string and her voice sounds like an old hag that has smoked and drank too much. I wonder who Jack Klugman blackmailed to get her that gig and kept her from being fired. The show would've been much better without her constant gum flapping.
