Today's action: As time ran out yesterday, our champion had won her third game and gotten the top answer on the audience match board. So we pick up today with my favorite segment: the head-to-head match! Quick recap: For her first go-round, she picked Richard, but didn't match. She chose Charles for her second try and they matched for $5,000. Now we'll see who she'll choose for her third attempt... "I'm going to stick with my sweetheart Charles!" Today's H/H question: "Hammer and _________" (A little harder maybe? Hammer and nails. Hammer and sickle? Something else I'm not thinking of?) The contestant initially seems much less confident this time, as if she hasn't come up with answer yet. Charles is working with Brett, writing things and eliciting her reaction. As Charles files his card, he flashes it to the camera, but I couldn't read it. It looks like a short answer with an a in it, so maybe nail(s)? The contestant sounds confident when she says "nails." The way Charles is clowning around he obviously matched! After a string of silly possibilities "hammer and pastrami, hammer and grasshopper, hammer and eggs," he says "even a blank would say hammer and nails!"
