@@wgbtide87 The celebrities on here are and were well-known. Vicki Lawrence, however, has said that this version of _Match Game_ was the worst project she'd ever been involved with. It wasn't the panel's fault that this flopped. The producers tried _WAY, WAY_ too hard to foster a party atmosphere on a show that had one fostered naturally during its classic run in the 1970s. The answers given to some of these questions were too explicit for what was *intended* to be a daytime game show, and because of that, _Match Game '98_ was shafted to overnight time slots (including in its home market of Los Angeles.)

The rendition was severely UNDERRATED. Michael Burger is comedic gold. Can anyone link to the episode with the infamous question about Michael Jackson? It started something like "At the costume party............" The answer the contestant gave was bleeped out. The answers the panel wrote were bleeped out, but the contestant matched almost everyone. I got the sense that the answer was something like "little boy". Would love to see this again. It seems to have been scrubbed from the internet.

I do have Michael burgers match game on nbc 1 vs 100 dvd game enjoy now I really love match game and wheel of fortune to enjoy

Match game made big return in fall 1994 and again in summer 2022 with Michael burger and was taped fall 1966 also fall winter 1974 and 1975 also wheel of fortune 1980 fall 1983 1984 1984 1985 1985 1986 1986 1987 1998 even spring fall winter 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 also 1998 even into 2000s 2010s and yes today in 2020s and since Alex Baldwin match game on abc is no more back to Michael burgers match game Since mid late 1960s and early and mid 1970s to enjoy nbc cbs and yes even abc fox TV match game is a great game show I like gene Rayburn and Michael burgers match game the best
