I totally agree even in most of her episodes. She was beautiful and the best part that I loved, no offence, a little dingy. But if I had to choose of all, it would be the beautiful natural red headed Patty Deutsch who was also a little dingy and different when it came to the show. But her answers were still very witty and funny which she actually strived for and accomplished. She had it all and I loved her comedic cartoonish voice. It was so sexy. She seemed to be a little depressed toward the end of the series and not like the beginning when she was real bubbly. She was great on Laugh In. Sorry to see she eventually passed from cancer but luckily/thankfully lived most of her natural born life. RIP Patty, 2017.

To add to the game, If a young one would ask me what the 1970's were like, I would definitely reply with no hesitation the MATCH GAME. To my recollection, this game is an example of what I experienced during that time. (Before everyone was anal..drinking age was 18, best concerts with original members and when getting high was taboo...many more things too..etc. I think that is why I hear so many people refer to this time and mention how great it may have been for them.

Here are some episodes that should have been in this top 25: The episode in which Gene starts fighting with the cameraman. The episode in which Gene starts to hit the man for not "holding the sign up." The episode in which Johnny Olson sits in the third seat at the start of the game. Come on, you have to honor Johnny O! The episode in which the Audience Super Match is Denise BLANK and one of the responses is "and de nephew." The episode in which Gene compliments Karen Lesko on her nipples. The episode in which Marcia Wallace gets censored. I am also surprised that one of the year-change episodes wasn't featured. Goodie-Toddie bird would have been a good one. While not necessarily funny, here are some memorable episodes: Kirstie Alley as a contestant before she was on _Cheers_ Brianne Leary as a contestant before she was on _Chips_ Brian Billick as a contestant long before he coached the Baltimore Ravens

Thank God that IMDb is covering it but the only drawback is some episodes want to charge. But some of the episodes can be caught on KZbin for free. I will assume that they are no longer available on Pluto. Freaked me out when I found that the NFL channel was on instead of the MG. Let's hope we can still view it without being charged....FYI.. I remember an old 60's match game, I distinctly remember an episode when they mentioned one of the forbidden words t*ties. A man came on the show with balloon boobs tucked under his shirt and was speaking in a comedic voice. Someone popped them (don't remember exactly who) but he had a comedic voice and said...YOU POPPED MY TI**ies!!. and everyone on the show was hysterical. Believe me, it DID happen because you remember those things when you are a kid. I watched it at a friend's house in front of his father and he wasn't amused. We/my friends laughed our a**es off anyway regardless of his reaction. I've looked everywhere for that episode but couldn't find it anywhere. I will keep my hopes up though.

Debralee Scott was so cute and funny. Her life ended tragically: Scott's fiancé John Dennis Levi, a police officer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, died in the September 11, 2001 attacks. In 2005, Scott moved to Florida to live with her sister. Shortly after her arrival, Scott fell into a coma. She soon recovered and was released from the hospital on her birthday. On April 5, 2005, three days after her 52nd birthday and being released from the hospital, she took a nap and apparently died in her sleep. Scott's body was cremated. Her fiancé's mother stated that Scott had a drinking problem that led to her developing cirrhosis, which led to her death. Her sister Jerri said, "She never did get over Dennis' death." credit: Wikipedia
