I wonder if this was soon after Patty got yelled at by people in the audience after she gave one of her "clever" answers rather than the obvious one that would've won the game for a contestant everyone liked... The audience yelled something like, "Oh, c'mon Patty" and it looked like Patty was actually hurt over it, and maybe decided to start giving more realistic responses to the questions. She seemed to be mostly doing that in this episode.

I think it is so rude, when they do not think the celebrity who gave them the answer for the audience match. I would be too scared if I spun the wheel and it ended up on them! And they would purposely make you lose! But one thing about RICHARD Dawson, every time that they would say Richard to guess his name or landed on the wheel, he would always be fair and give the correct answer! But I’ve seen a lot of them missed the answer on purpose on the big one
