Foster's 502 joke still landed almost 50 years later! This show is incredible.

A wonderful show Hard to replace Gene Richard Charles Brett and all the other guests made for great TV viewing Miss these guys so much
@CousinOresama2 жыл бұрын
Actually, it would have been very easy to replace Brett. In fact, there was that week or two when she was too drunk to show up and Fannie Flagg took her place. Should have been permanent. I agree with you about the others, though.

I agree Brett should have been replaced long ago.

The reason why they pick on Charles Nelson Reilly, all the time, is because he’s very famous, he’s very intelligent, and he is extremely eccentric. So they’re really jealous of him.

Two very bad players. The only reason she won is because she got the easy spaghetti question. Can’t believe she messed up and didn’t say “Saturday Evening Post”.

It's a rare day that Patti Deutsch has the definitive answer. XD

Yes, it is indeed. The late, great Patti Deutsch was notorious for her offbeat, and damn near bizarre, answers...her non sequiturs were truly legendary and unforgettable.

@@richards5389 Thank you, I was wondering. I will look that up. Looks like it was artistic differences with the writer that ruffle his feathers and then the play did flop.. He seems to have ruffle feathers this week.. ;0)

Yep. It's almost as disappointing--not to mention downright embarrassing--as "Mississippi, Tennessee" (as uttered by another clueless contestant in a later episode).

Captain Kirk's dad! Have you heard that Farmer Brown is selling cosmetics? His favorite product is called Eau de MILK. (Bzzt! Manure was a good answer.) Talk about unexpected company! This morning I found FLIPPER in my waterbed. (1 match) Pinocchio said, "I will never go out with a Campfire Girl again. She tried to start a fire by rubbing my LEGS together. (3 matches. That contestant blew it by giving two answers.) Did you hear about the White Tornado's wife? She gave birth to a little THUNDERSTORM. (1 match.) I've heard of child brides, but this is ridiculous. Every night my neighbor has to get up to FEED his wife. (1 match out of 5. I thought of burp, but you don't get up to burp a baby. Even so, it would have matched more than mine.) Guido is an Italian through and through. When he was born, instead of an umbilical cord, Guido was attached to his mother by a piece of SPAGHETTI. (4 or 5 matches. Couldn't see Patti's card.) LOVE of your life ($250 match) Lost in SPACE ($500 match) Saturday Evening POST (DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!)
