Nipsey did not appear on Match Game from episode 486 to 836 of Match Game 76. It was a little over a year that Nipsey was "Missing in Action!"

Nipsey was never one of the regular panelists; that is, he rotated in and out. I'm guessing he just got busy with other projects. A shame though, he was great here!

Oh wow, update, I did not see this when I posted; this was 1979 or later; apparently things got patched up between G/T & Nipsey. However, I believe it is true that during the R&R period, Nipsey was not allowedback on MG.

Nipsey became a regular on the game show "Rhyme and Reason" in 1975, a show quite similar to Match Game (R&R should be on KZbin); I believe that Goodson/Todman made him persona non grata after that.

There is only one episode of that show on KZbin, I think. Like many shows from the 1970's, it was just taped over. This even includes the last episode of the show, when the panel destroyed the set during the broadcast.

Actually Nipsey Riusell worked with Mark Goodson again in 1983 in a pilot called Starwords. He was probably just busy.
