I love this show and my favorites are Brett, Gene & Charles. You can tell they cared for each. And all the guests seemed so genuine. So enjoyable. Pure fun.

I legit grew up watching Match Game. It was a lesson in comedy & comedic timing. The stories from the set are legendary. CNR is an icon. I cherish these episodes. Before politically correct television.

@@1Soniccool Also,since there was a lot of tape destruction of any kind like recording over shows such as the ABC version of Password (1971-75,which was used for Family Feud daytime 1976-85). I'm pretty sure that they had enough money to buy other recording tape.

Brett Somers was more into insult humor much like Phyllis Diller, Joan Rivers, and Don Rickles. If you're not into those comedians, Somers is probably not your cup of tea either.

An adult man billed with three names? Charles Nelson, really?! I was embarrassed just seeing him on TV game shows, ESPECIALLY sporting eyeglasses 2x bigger then necessary. He was a waste of expensive air time...nothing personal of course.
