Hi Joshy! I love these dolls! My friend Didi collects these and I literally bought my first one two days ago! It hasn’t arrived yet so I’m so glad to see these in a video! They are sooooo stinking CUTE! I can’t wait for mine to get here now! I’m definitely going to make the changes you made in the elbows….Omg! Your faceUps are always so gorgeous!! This is such a great video, Yamato is so cute! I bought one of these dolls recently and wanted to try to customize her too, but I can't figure out how to take the back of her head off her body. How did you get the stopper off of yours?

I honestly cautiously just yanked the damn thing off the peg lol 😂, it’s on really snug and the stopper if pushed pushed back very flush will keep the head on very tight. I did blow dry the inner bits a tiny bit for some wiggle but not enough where the plastics way soft.

They specialize in the complete customization of their dolls so you can find heads, bodies and even full dolls. If you’re in the market for a blank head this place has it. Just do a bit of research on the things you might wanna purchase, Obitsu is so old that there is allot of info out there about their products 👌🏿 Azone has ALLOT to offer, give them a google and prepare to be FLOORED! Gorgeous dolls and really high quality standards. And if you’re a anime fan prepare to be blown away by the licensed dolls 🥰❤️ Dollfie Dream…. Nuff said. Give them a quick search, TONS to appreciate and they also have blank heads on their US site “Volks” is the mother company ^_< SmartDoll is another obvious choice and now you can purchase just heads as well in their site 😇 Hope that sets you on your way! Helloooo currently searching up things for faceups and i just wanted to know what you use to remove the old/factory faceup? Ive heard that a lot of doll people use acetone but im kinda scared of accidentally damaging this doll lmao

This dolls isn’t soft vinyl and will melt if you use acetone. I removed the stock screening with simple sand paper. I chose to wet sand for a cleaner more even removal. These dolls have similar plastic to that of Pullip or Blythe 👌🏿😇

These dolls are adorable! I like what you did with them! I have a question, how do you remove their heads from their bodies? I got mine today and I plan to do a little modding myself, but I'm not sure how the neck piece works. Again, lovely dolls!

Congrats on your new doll! But yeah, getting the head off was a little tricky as these dolls have a rectangular “stopper” that keeps things nice and sturdy on the neck peg. It’s pushed back towards the back of the dolls head firmly on the inside. That stops things from disassembling. If you pull that “stopper” forward towards yourself it should makes pulling the head back off the neck peg easier. 👌🏿👌🏿😇 hope that helps and thanks for watching

I’m not entirely sure of that as I’m new to them, that being said I did do a little research on them and was able to conclude that this is a brand created by this specific company and I haven’t seen anyone make any accusations. So I’d say no. But I’m no authority on these dolls so take my opinions with a grain of salt 😇

they aren't! they look similar to some dollfamily dolls but definitely aren't recast because of how their joints work. Also, the company has trademarked them in Asia and Europe which means they're legit :)

If the issue is getting the wig on the doll, try warming the inside of the wig, this should give it a little ease and make stretching the wig onto the doll’s head 👌🏿😇
