Absolutely awful from Barlaser today, how he got a full game is beyond me. Carrick isn’t immune to critism, played barlaser instead of Mcgree, Greenwood as a CF, late subs yet again, and we can’t keep a clean sheet to save our lives.

Awful from linesman first goal was slightly offside our player raised his hand plus the player that ran back inside ran back offside before the ball was played shouldn’t have been a goal our goal wasn’t offside he made sure he was onside before the ball was played shocking as always

As a fan of over 35 years now I need to ask this question. What EXACTLY has Michael Carrick done here that warrants relentless praise? Yes he's been around football a long time and was a magnificent manager but when push comes to shove tactically, I don't believe the guy is that great AT ALL. Subs always way too late. Players out of position CONSTANTLY. Hasn't got a grip on the defensive side of things whatsoever. ( Although woodgate shoulders that blame I will admit). We are far to casual with this " play it out from the back" rubbish and always start games terribly. Our promotion push was dead after the first six games and our mad injury list has not helped Carrick admittedly but the guy needs to give himself a shake and get it together. As for the players we let go, Chuba, Rogers etc, the books need balancing and footballs a business at the end of the day. I know we are nothing special anymore and we have zero entitlement to the Premier League but most of our signings have been below par jobbers. Barlaser an example, Hopper another. Utter rubbish mostly on the recruitment side with a few exceptions. Sorry for the long rant, I'm just fed up with this side at the moment. And finally, where the HELL IS RILEY McREE??????? For god sake man, play the boy. Sort it Carrick. And quickly.

I think Carrick has had his day he’s shown last season because we had good strikers and scored lots of goals. This season. It is showing him for what he really is an average manager.

This is his first ever manager gig so we should obviously give the guy a bit of leeway and not expect him to be Guardiola instantly. He'll obvs make mistakes but learning from them is crucial. Yes he doesn't have the best squad, yes money's tight. But at least make us hard to beat and then build from there. I want everyone involved with the club to succeed and turn us into a good side again but at the minute it's just miles away.

The recruitment has been very good under Carrick, January was underwhelming but overall it’s been great. Not sure what you’re on about there

I understand the frustration mate.....But you gotta give MC some slack, we know what he is capable off when he has even half decent players available without injuries to key areas of the pitch maybe we could've managed more points. Our long-term injury list this season is ridiculous, in my head Im almost ready to write this year off....

Got to be honest Bristols first goal was offside And Greenwoods wasn't so if the rules were followed the score would have been the other way around. Credit to the Bristol defenders though. They made better saves than their keeper
