In 2009, I was over in London, doin' a course related to my work, and was stayin' in Chiswick. During some free time, I took a wander around the area, and stumbled upon a Blue Sign sayin' 'Brentford F.C.'. Curious, I took a walk down to look at the outside of the stadium, and, on a random whim, decided to give them my backing. Since that, I've watched the Battlin' Bees steadily work their way up League 1, to Championship promotion, to a top Championship side, consistently in the Playoffs, to finally, the JUST DESSERTS!! The whole set-up reeks of great organisation, smart financial management, and sound sells/buys. Not many clubs repeatedly sell top talent, but yet always find the necessary, perfect replacements, Mr. T bein' the current cherry on the cake! Stoked as hell for ya's lads, you've earned THIS through smarts and hard graft. Def the Prem's 'wild card' next Season, can't feckin' wait!! Slainthé from yer Norn Irn contingent!! 😁

Three years on and it still brings out chills and goose bumps..... I've been supporting this team since 1958 and there have been many ups and downs - mainly downs - not to mention heartaches but at last the play-off hoodoo was finally laid to rest Only sad thing after the game is that Marcondes (who was man of the match) was released so didn't get his Premier League wish with Brentford, he had to wait until Bournemouth won promotion
