Two things. The first is on the assumption that penalties are only given for foul play. If a defender tries getting out of the way of the opposing player how can it be called a foul? Also, Paul Robinson pushed the ball onto the goalpost from inside the goal. What does anyone else think?

A European cup tie between Derby County and Real Madrid in October 1975 had an incident when a RM defender intercepted a cross aimed at a DC forward, but could not get out of the path of an oncoming teammate inside the penalty area. The referee adjudged that the foul was not intentional, and awarded an indirect free kick to DC.
