Preston fan here - irrespective of the manager you have come summer, you’ve scored the 2nd most goals in the League and you’ve conceded the 2nd most goals in the league. If, in the summer, you can sort out your defence and keep your attackers, you’ll be aiming for automatic promotion next season!

Performance was marginally better but 1 shot on target is unacceptable at home, hardly creating chances now. Maynard is out of his depth, apparently players don’t like his training sessions which doesn’t sound good…he’s taken one of the best attacks in the league and completely blunted us. If he’s here next season there’s nothing but a relegation battle We need to actually buy a keeper that can claim crosses and defenders that can actually defend rather than concentrating on passing.

Maynard stays and starts the next season, regardless of what happens between now and the end. Problems were in place before his arrival, and he hasn't had fair opportunity to turn it around. Rear guard, including goalkeeper, needs a complete summer overhaul as I'm not sure any are good enough for this level

League 2 football is tough when you've got a non league squad. Be honest, how many County players would get in the Mansfield, Wrexham, Stockport or MKD sides? Jones and Langstaff might make their squads, but wouldn't be guaranteed to start. I predicted that Maynard will start next season, make a poor start and be gone by Christmas. The owners will not admit their mistake this season. He'll be at Notts in August. Notts squad is very poor for this level.

Form started getting shaky a month or two before Williams left, so I'm not sure this is on Maynard. Besides which being honest, with thr defenders you have, do you think a new manager could do better? I don't see the point of changing managers with 10-ish games left.

Wrexham fan here. I’m sure you don’t get two shites what I have to say. Nothing to do with the balance of this season, it’s over. The slip started under Williams and continues with Maynard. It’s not the gaffers, it’s the players. You’ve got a solid starting 11, just not the depth to compete at the top. No way you fire Maynard. This isn’t his team, not his player. Give him through next season. Let him implement his system with his players. He’s stopped one problem, giving up crooked numbers. I think your owners are happy with league 2, no chance at league 1. Sell Maca and use the money to rebuild your backline.

Notts are a top end league 1/championship club historically. The owners know that, that’s the aim now we’re out of non league. It’ll take time, maybe a long time because we won’t throw money at it like other clubs. To say they’re happy in League 2 is most likely incorrect and if it somehow is, they’d have to sell.

Every game the same - we can't score we won't score - just knew Wimbledon would nick it. Just can't understand what has happened. But LW was a big loss. I think LW demanded a lot and could get wins. Just that the team couldn't consistently meet his high standards.. Feel sorry for SM but i think he could have made a change at 1-0. Will they not play for SM?

The sight of 50% of the kop leaving when they scored their second should set alarm bells ringing for the owners. Theyll be no need to build a fanzone because at this rate theyll be very few fans. The owners just have to admit theyve made a mistake and need to act. SM is a decent guy but he wasnt the man to fill LW shoes. Defeat on tuesday and Ill be hoping to hear news on Wednesday. Neil Warnock is our man. Dont get it wrong again Notts🖤🤍

The defence is abysmal. We should have taken the lead but have given away an absolute turkey of a goal from a long throw and own goal. Manager carries the can but I blame the players more than him.
