There is a large and well vetted body of published research (check pubmed for many) in highly respected medical journals showing many health benefits, including decreased incidence of certain cancers and lower risk of all cause mortality. Of course adding milk negates many of these benefits because milk proteins bind with the catechins.

I haven't heard of any unless you drink a LOT and then you have to worry about the caffeine
