Great work, I had the Matchbox 1/76 scale Tiger, the Sherman, the Panzer IV, and several others, I bought them back in the 1970's for $1.79 or something each, I like how they included the diorama bases, I also still have the AirFix 1/76 Jungle Outpost kit, the RAF air force base control tower kit and several others along with a bunch of Roco Minitanks, tanks and trucks I had them all set up on an HO scale model train layout, It looked great, even though there was a variety of scales in 1/72, 1/76, and 1/87

Hi Al. A nice little build. The work on the base paid off didn't it ? The only thing I would say is to get the tracks on the right side to engage the sprocket teeth better , it really shows up. Those old Matchbox kits were really good for their age. I know I built one as a kid and I built another one about ten years ago and I still have it. I did mine in the ambush paint scheme and draped some foliage on it to. Good luck completing the whole collection. Well done mate.

These Matchbox kits were very nice, also bcz often they had different tanks from Airfix ones, now some had been re-issued by Revell.
