That's awesome and definitely worth of 40$ 😎 That's weird that most of Matchbox collector stuff isn't so nice, but basic cars and moving parts are much better. But this Peterbilt is just so cool.

Thanks I definitely agree there!!

Fun fact the Peterbilt container truck was originally cast in 1978. You can find examples under the Matchbox king size line. This version is highly upgraded but you can see the old casting details it was based on. Also the first ones were produced in england

I will definitely track one of these down, I like the Truck and Jim B. was one of my favorite drinks back when I drank. Love the detail, you have a great day Sam and cheers!😆❤👍

I wish Mattel would put efforts like this into their newer collectables. It seems like they value the packaging more rather than the actual product in it. Even though this truck didn't came in a massive pretty and elegant box, it is still BREATHTAKING. I literally gagged when you removed the styrofoam. I also think that Mattel overcharges their collectables for what they are. Sometimes, the quality control is so bad.

Definitely agree. In many ways they have gone backwards in quality and shipping, which is a huge bummer. The modern Matchbox Collectibles models are glorified $5 retail releases in a better display packaging.

@@64Wheels I just seems like Mattel just prioritize packaging rather than the actual product inside, not just for Hot Wheels and Match Box, but rather all across their products as well. It's really sad to see considering that these are very overpriced and some collectors even have to get these collectables from scalpers because Mattel won't bother fixing the bot issue on their MattelCreations site.

That Zilmex there-- also known as Zeetoy-- is the only official maker of a branded Crown school bus. Also, the one that they made was of the more rare duel rear axle version.

I have several Zee/Zylmex cars and they are pretty impressive for the era. They were the first to do a licensed Delorean with opening doors too!
